I would like to thank BPS for the opportunity to try their extreme fat burner COMBUSTION.

Started the product last Friday with one cap to evaluate my tolerance. It went well so I'm now using 2 caps daily. 1 upon waking and one 6-8 hr's later.

My starting weight is 199.4lbs, 24%bf, 52%water as measured on an inaccurate scale with a bio impedance function through the soles of the feet.

Let the games begin.

Awesome, man! I love Combustion! Try it out with a non-stim preworkout like OL's Conqu3r Stim-Free or SAN Megatron. I think you will be very pleased :)

In for the ride :D

Good to see you around, Enhanced! Scoooter, what are you goals for this log? What are you looking to get out of Combustion?

My goal(s) is to first most run the product and compare the MFG claims to my experiences and try to answer the best I can "does the supplement do what it says ?" which I clipped from NP.....

An Innovative & Extreme Fat Burning Formula!

NEW Combustion by BPS is a new and exciting fat burning/fat prevention formula!. It works to increase lipolysis and adrenergic stimulation, all while working to prevent redeposition of fat (fat gain) in the body.

Combustion will decrease appetite, improve mood, burn fat, and allow for rapid body recomposition.

My expectations are to maintain the same caloric intake, I do not plan to starve myself no fun in that, while attempting to decrease body fat percentage and keep or add to my LBM. I'm a non competitor simple ol' guy who loves sup's. I would like to have recomposition occur in the love handles area and midsection. Being a tall lean body type with a somewhat protruding midsection I'm also going to try and tighten up with a lot of ab work.

Day 6 - summary. Day 1 used just 1 cap to "assess tolerance" as per the directions (below) That went ok so it's been 2 caps / day for days 2 thru 5.

Directions: Take 1 capsule 3 times per day on an empty stomach. People sensitive to stimulants can start with 2 capsules per day to assess tolerance.

I pop cap #1 first thing on empty stomach between 6-7am and the 2nd cap has been around 2pm. Due to the euphoric feelings from the afternoon dose I have stayed at the 2 cap dose for now.

At this time I can confirm two of the product's claims, decrease appetite + improve mood. I still like to eat but the urge to binge has been eliminated and I find myself in more control of when I want to eat. This has given me the opportunity to adjust the foods for more smarter choices which in the long haul I hope leads to a slimmer waist, we shall see as this process takes time. My mood has been lifted as well.

I'm all out of Agmatine but I do enjoy that sup when I have it. I concur the use of a non caffeinated preWO is essential (for me) since there is sufficient energy increase from the Combustion alone.

Training has been going well and volume has ticked up a notch.

Effects - I can say that something is going on. Past couple days my stomach has been churning, not any discomfort, simply making loud noises, feeling less bloated but not excessively dry like a diuretic. Skin is firm and feels elastic.

Dosing has not changed, I'm still using 2 caps / day.

I find no need for morning coffee. Afternoon sleepiness has been destroyed. More alert and energized. No need for any preWO w/ caffeine, in fact I need to avoid them during this run.

I'm considering using 3 caps for a single day trial but find for now the product suits me perfectly at the 2 cap dose. I'm admittedly stimulant sensitive so it is very possible for some users to want to use 3 caps per day, you know them "stim" junkies, which I am not.

My 2nd dose of the day is typically in the early afternoon so up to this point there has been no interference or disturbance with my sleep.

Sounds great. I'm pretty stim tolerant, almost a junkie lol. However I'm taking some AdrenoSurge right now and one cap of Combustion does me well!

How would you describe using Combustion as a preworkout?

So my diet has remained unchanged for the most part and I'm noticing that I may need to up my intake of fiber cause the BM have become really solid. Not sure if this a result of fat being metabolized or what ?

Looking at the results of the diet tracker I use is showing I also may need to lower the carb intake if I want to make more of a fat loss run.

I'm 6' 200lb 15-18%bf. I'm tall and thin ecto with a round belly so I've been attacking the abs a lot. My cardio choice has been a type of stair climber. I perform a manual HIIT by varying the hill climb height from 10 to 20 (20 is max) and the resistance from 25 to 40 for a total duration of 20-30 min. I sometimes follow this with a circuit of weight training alternating upper body and lower body 2x week. Intensity has gone up and although the circuit is designed for high volume low weight I'm actually doing low volume and using heavy weight (heavy for me).

I feel more toned but the belly is still protruding more than I care for.

While lowering the carbs might make a difference with water retention, I haven't seen a huge difference between low and moderate carb intake, personally. As far as the BMs go, how is your water intake?

During a cut, I would absolutely recommend going heavy as that will help you to retain your strength. In a deficit, you will not be building any muscle, and you want to focus on fat loss. Your overall caloric deficit will be what determines your fat loss.

Can you give an example of your training regimen?

I also agree with the HIIT method, I peronally think it is better than LISS. Of course, I hate cardio of any type, LOL ;) I certainly wish you could spot reduce as well :(

not consecutive days but this is the trend, which is why I was thinking of reducing the carb intake.
I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
I'll have 3 just for pre, during, post wo. the others are though out the day.

Training is not any specific program at this time. i'll try to put together an example, assuming you want to know
Weight, Sets, Reps

I'd try & make sure those 8 glasses of water are at least 16 ounces each.

Thanks, what I actually use the 20oz P.S. water bottle and just refill it at the water cooler.

I'm searching for a stainless steel container due to the reported issues of drinking water from plastic.

I was thinking mainly just what lifts you are doing. What is your activity level?

I would stick to the basic compound lifts during a cut: Deadlifts, Squat, Bench, OHP.

Quick report - morning dose on empty stomach followed by a cup of coffee makes a good combination for preWO.

Also, the thermal effect, feeling quite warmer but not sweating while sitting, is more pronounced.

we shall see.

In my application post I stated "no" as my response to before and after photo's due to the fact that they can be easily manipulated.

I'm down 6.5lbs (203.6 to 197)

I feel lighter and a bit tighter all over. My goal has been to reduce fat while maintaining LBM.

Admittedly my diet has been all over the place so the weight loss, which seems to be mostly fat reserves, is impressive.

Energy remains high and my run is going well. I'm using 1 cap upon waking w/ a cup of coffee and 1 cap in the mid afternoon.

Ok, not to sound neg. but there is a wide variance between weight measured in morning versus at night. My intent was a recomp. so I'm trying to maintain the LBM but reduce and/or eliminate the fat. I can report that I "feel" tighter and do notice a change in the mirror. The exact extent of the product's results are difficult to measure scientifically but this supplement makes it easy for me anecdotally.

Here are the product's claim's: Combustion will decrease appetite, improve mood, burn fat, and allow for rapid body recomposition.

decrease appetite: YES - I do notice this, however, I have experienced a willingness to eat so I'm not starving

improve mood: Yep - been more positive in general. I did have a moment while on the stair climber that I just did not want to stop. I had reached my goal for time that day but I kept on going. Eventually I had to pull myself away by telling myself not to over do it

burn fat I feel like I have accomplished a little of this.

allow for rapid body recomposition I could agree that changes are occurring faster and I'm progressing more quickly by using this supp. combined with training.

These results MAY occur based on typical responses. That isn't a guarantee for you though. You may be a non-responder to some, or all, of the highlights. Only way to tell is by trying it, right?

Appetite: Some see a decrease in overall appetite. Some see a decrease in cravings. Some not at all.
Burn Fat: Depends on diet, training and genetics.
Recomp: Same as above, all things considered.

Just have to ride it out, stay strong with your plan and see where it takes you. Enjoy it!

I always weigh in on the same day each week at the same time to keep it all as constant as possible. Water weight will definitely play a role from morning to night.

Funny you ask, I just counted and as of yesterday I have just under half left.

I have progressed to 3x/day so about 2 more weeks worth of supply.

The transition from 2/day to 3/day was not entirely necessary (for me) but I wanted to give it a try. Several days at 3 caps has not been any problem.

I added the third cap cause I started to notice I would have slight cravings late at night, the third cap has helped subdue them.

Another slight modification is switching to green tea (keurig) twice a day.

So the week is starting off the same as the one before in terms of workouts which I'm still highly motivated for.

I do have an admission, I was trying to get away with eating dirty and rely on the sup to pick up the slack for my bad food choices, this was wrong.

The cliché "you are what you eat" does hold some truth.

I began to select better foods by incorporating a few cups of green tea / day.

Today's lunch: green beans heated in olive oil, Dijon mustard turkey tips, cup of cheese broccoli soup.

My weight loss has not been extreme but that was never part of my intended goal. I wanted to keep, actually add LBM while trying to decrease fat stores (recomp). I'm sure the Combustion has played a vital role in keeping the fat from accumulating. While my weight loss has not been dramatic and has sort slowed a bit I feel the effects are more transformative. Bowels have been changed and I've had to adapt the diet to include copious amounts of fiber to keep stuff moving. I'd like to say that the effects for me seem as if all the foods I eat are being used rather than stored/saved for later. That last part may sound a bit weird but I'm not sure how else to explain it. Energy levels are fine and I've not experience any discomfort or shakes or tiredness.
