Here's my tebow pic from the UK vs. UF game last month. He came over and gave the crowd a high-five.

oh yeah..btw...arkansas st= stength of sched. as well.

Oh yeah... btw... strength of schedule =

Final - OT

Guess I can't say your conference is over-rated... since no credible fan or media outlet gives them any respect:blink: I can't tell you how ecstatic I am that there's zero chance of seeing Ohio State or Penn State play for the nat'l championship in Miami. It's like an early Christmas for the broken BCS. Either way, after watching some of the OSU-Mich debacle, thank God there's no more Big Ten football to watch. I'm done with it this year.

Oh, and plenny, you better start praying for Oregon State to run the table. Having to watch Penn State play USC in California after a six week layoff will be extremely p-a-i-n-ful.:shoot:

To all of you who have argued that Texas Tech is the true #1 team... I hope you've watched the first 20 minutes of the OU game.

That defense is offensive.

have you ever even watched a psu game this season? it seems like you listen to all those duche bags on espn who are big12/sec driven. oh and not to mention usc. i sincerly hope we do play usc so the nation can see penn state "at least" keep up with usc.

how about penn st whooping up on mich st? the 3rd best running back(jevon ringer) went nowhere and...here it goes....[B]IN THE COLD final score 49-10. now with that said, i am soooo proud of florida for running up the score on the citadel, for christ's sake let the freshmen play a little bit.

attention....all sec teams

come up north and play a big 10 team. temperature as i type this is 26F outside my house with 4 inches of snow on the ground. oh i forgot it was a bone chilling 50F in georgia thursday night. :bruce1:

Stop the insanity.

Seriously though, plenny... I like you. (yes homo)

Oh yeah, Texas Tech could totally hang against Alabama or Florida. I mean, they score like 60 points a game.

In one half... Tech's defense gave up 400 yards total offense (approx. 220 rushing/180 passing) and 5 touchdowns.

E-x-posed.

Holy crap! OU is laying it on Texas Tech. I predict you'll see Oklahoma jump to the number two spot after tonight. 42-7 at halftime....wow. I gotta say it...no offense trauma...but it's completely a douche bag move to run up 70 points on The Citadel. That being said, I'm predicting a UF/OU national title game.

What the hell are you talking about? Tebow didn't play AT ALL in the second half. Not to mention the whole first team didn't as well. The 3rd string defense and offense were scoring left and right in the game. I think you just fail to realize that even the freshman and second team at UF are infact just that good. In fact, Rainey and Demps as freshman are better than anything PSU has to offer, period.

Plenny, seriously man........Give it up. THANK GOD i don't have to see another lame azz big 10 team get stomped by the SEC in the national championship game.

Man, this is just ugly. I figured there might be close to 100 points scored in this game... I just didn't think Oklahoma would score the vast majority of them!

Still, I have to put Texas in front of them, for the simple fact that they both have one loss and the 'Horns won the head-to-head matchup. No matter what... that should count the most when their records are the same imo. Either way, the Sooners look ridiculous tonight.

No, it's not a basketball score...

I actually wish I'd watched this Division II playoff game today, since most of the games on TV were duds.

Biggest game of the season is Thursday night at GT. I'ma be there.

Maryland is in the driver seat for the Atlantic side.
I'd love for it to be Miami-Maryland in Tampa on Dec. 6th. I'd go stay with my Mom in Gainesville and hit up the game.

Getting ahead of myself - but this is the first meaningful game we've had late (hell even mid) season in the ACC since '05.
Been a long time coming.

defintely got ahead of yourself

Ouch.

I would love to play a team from the MAC or Mountain West. Look at that guy's picture....he's obviously never played sports in his life. He actually looks like he just hit puberty or just got his ass kicked. I love when people like that jack ass throw in their opinion.

Woooooooooooooooooooo

When we visit Ron Zook field in 2 weeks (formerly Doak), I'm praying we hang 100 on that pathetic school out west. FSU is going to get the business. And then mark my words, they will get the hammer brought upon them courtesy of the NCAA not too long after. You shall see...

"Ron Zook field" that was clever. 100 points, probably not

alright, i think i'm done......messed up my shoulder so i haven't been on this thing that much. looks like i've been missing out on a lot of bullshit:D trauma, we are going to light tebow's ass up. i can't wait

I think you better get your midol ready for after the game, you're going to need it.

"criminoles"
what's up with your back up qb?????

Yup, criminoles!

Cameron Newton's (3rd string QB) arrest is hardly even remotely comparable to what's gone down in tallahassee over the years, puh-lease.

Today's AP poll is interesting:

1. Alabama
2. Florida
3. Oklahoma
4. Texas
5. USC

Since Bama-UF will be settled on the field (there's a concept), I guess that leaves the great Texas-Oklahoma debate.

Here's my take:

1. Same record.
2. Texas beat Oklahoma head-to-head.

What's to debate?

Seriously? Look, I'm just as impressed with Oklahoma's performance yesterday. However Texas beat OU on a neutral field, without controversy, when the Sooners were ranked #1. How can that be dismissed? This "What have you done for me lately?" mentality in the polls is getting ridiculous.

Edit: Check out the coaches poll... the one that counts!

1. Alabama
2. Oklahoma
3. Florida
4. Texas
5. USC

WTF???:jaw: Texas is gettin screwed... bad.

The SEC representin' at the top baby! I agree with your sentiments here as well, rub. How and why OU gets placed above Texas in the AP poll is disturbing. It's simply just wrong given the fact that Texas won their head to head matchup.

I guess the next few weeks here are going to be VERY interesting to say the least.

GO SEC!

Trauma, check my edit. The coaches have them #2 and #4. :wtf:

This is all very interesting, considering this was the same Randy Shannon that cried after Meyer kicked that late field goal when UF/UM faced off early in the season...

Tech sat on the ball inside the UM 10 so as not to run up the score, and Shannon comes out firing again. If Shannon really buys the crap he sells about not trying to run up the score in the 4th quarter of blowouts, he wouldn't have been so hypocritical tonight. The onside kick down 18 with 1:18 to go eliminates ANY complaint Shannon can ever have about another team running up the score. Onside kicks are done by teams thinking they can win. If you're not willing to admit defeat in that situation, then why should an opposing team presume a victory (and let up...a la Gators kicking a field goal late on 4th down vs. Miami?)

And Georgia Tech with 472 rushing yards? Good lord. 2nd most yards Miami has ever given up.

Uh - brah. With the body of work the Gators have done, I wouldn't bring up RUTS.

Just sayin'.

Happened before, brah. 2000. Canes beat FSU, then FSU gets to stink it up in the Orange against OU.

After last night (you were right about TxTech, Rubber) I can see OU ranked higher in the BCS and thus making it to the Big 12 championship (if they win Bedlam there will be a 3 way tie and I think BCS rankings will become the tiebreaker).

Whomever wins the Big 12 is who plays in Miami.

But I still think the most important step in the Big 12 south is making it to their title game.
I don't see another Nebraska '01 (team that didn't win it's part of the conference makes it to the national title game - see UGa last year).

Glass house?

C'mon there J, - The Miami "Thugs" are a close second. ;)

Fine. Go pull the arrest records. Ain't no Cam Newton at Miami this year.

Let's trot out stuff from 10 years ago again. Hell you don't even have to go back much into the Zook era.

Traum - you got any of the Renegade soap yet?

I should have it tomorrow, along with the rest of the new line-up.

Still waiting on my 1-T, it got delayed from delivery until the 25th. :frustrate:

I'll have Virile Mane on hand in case i start to lose my locks. :D

Imagine if by some chance that Mizzou knocks off the Big 12 south winner in their championship game. Talk about a cluster fukc. :drunk:

If Oklahoma State knocks off the Sooners... that would bring about some justice. (Of course, it would bring up a slight debate between Texas and T. Tech. But, you just can't lose by 44 points in the final two weeks of the season and still have a beef, imo.)

Go Cowboys!

Thanks for all your replys bro, now I dont have to respond to every post w/ Nole hatin. Just typical Gators thinkin their **** dont stink. How bout them Noles though, destroyed Maryland at their house, we just need 1 more game to go our way to go to the show.

You guys can keep on w/ the "Criminoles" BS, we've only got a Rhodes (sp?) scholar for a safety and a QB that got his BA in 2 years. We'll see what happens when our d-line studs get all up in Tebows face.

And FSU fans are any different? Come off the soap box....

We'll see how much you're talking next week after UF lays an azz whoopin' on FSU again this year. :whip:

I wonder what the ratio of academic achievement vs. criminal convictions is as FSU? J/K ;)

It should be a good game.

No offense to you or austink, but I think you'll both see the real difference between the best from the SEC and the ACC in this game. Yeah, I know... everyone's saying the SEC is way over-rated and the ACC has such parity (parody is more accurate). I could be wrong... and I don't really care one way or the other... but the 'Noles won't stand a chance this year. In fact, it may get ugly. Bowden may resort to such nonsense as, "We outscored 'em in the 2nd half..." on his postgame show.

My prediction:

Gators
52
'Noles
24

On the other hand, I think Alabama-Auburn will be uncomfortably close.

maybe, maybe not. i'm not as impressed with our defense as in the past. floirda has been playing like a god damn pro team since their loss but i think this game will be close. that being said, florida is walking into this game cocky and i can't wait to **** up their day. rubbering, it sucks to be you playing florida coming of a loss
