CEL's P-Mag Cycle Log

I've been ready for this cycle for over 4 weeks now. I was gonna run Estane but chose Pmag just b/c I have an open bottle in the cabinet. Anyways, the onset of this cycle was majorly delayed by a bogus injury obtained about 4 weeks ago when I dropped 205lbs on my sternum from arms length during a routine bench workout.

Long story short, it hurt like crazy for about a week and a half until I put heat to it. A little more than a week later the only movement that causes any pain is any type of dipping exercise (but I will keep updating on any more or less pain).

The plan is to run CEL's P-Mag for at least 4 but no more than 6 weeks depending on results:sides ratio. This will be my 3rd attempt at a hormonal cycle. First was H-drol which yielded fabulous results. Second was a failed attempt at a P-mag/EQ-Plex cycle which was cut short after about 10 days due to my schedule/gf/and missing too many doses.
But now I'm single and all I do is work and lift so I should fair much better this time.

I also have a bottle of CEL topical Formestane on hand. I am kind of curious as to what help, if any, formestane could do for my cycle/PCT.

Also, this is my first REAL attempt at a log that I plan on sticking with, so any suggestions, opinions and previous experience will not be frowned upon.
 
Im in bro, Im thinking of maybe doing an hdrol cycle in the future but seeing that pmags more of a bulker it may be that, seeing you will have done both it will be interesting to hear your point of view between the two, good luck:tongue2::tongue2::tongue2:
 
Today was the first day of my P-mag cycle. First dose was 25mgs at around 7:30am, 2nd was around 3:00, and last dose was just before 7:00pm. All PH doses will be taken with 2-3g of fish oil. I took the Cycle Assist about 1:00 cause it took longer than expected to get home from church but the gym is closed so, no biggie.

Breakfast consisted of 2 Split Top Honey Wheat bread pb&j sandwiches due to time constraints. Lunch was at about 1:30 and was two shaved chicken breast sandwiches on the same bread w/ mayo and ketchup. Then I went to my parents for dinner, where I at almost a whole can of cranberry sauce, 4 or 5 crescent rolls, mashed potatoes, and four slices of glazed ham. Downed it all with a few bottles of water.
The worst thing Ive eaten today was the four cadburry eggs my mom gave me. I was bored sitting there and I couldn't resist.
I am really gonna try to step it up with my caloric intake cause Im sure thats the reason Im not any bigger than I am already. I just cant eat like I used to.

Im making some chicken now for the coming next few days and I will force myself to eat once more before a casein shake and bed.


Being that today is the first day on cycle I have no noticeable side effect at this time. The only thing I am seriously concerned about is aggression. I can get extremely angry over the smallest thing, which I have made noticeable improvements on, but I am terrified of returning to my old self.

Thanks for joining in! Justeat, youre familiar from GymAddict20's current cycle so I hope this log doesnt disappoint you. Mine will be no where near as good as his. But I am gonna do my best to keep with it and keep everyone up to date

im very familiar with his, and im currently running the same one... just started my p-mag a few days ago but im very interested on how it works on its own GL
 
You know I'm down for the ride! I defn would mix in the Formestane with this cycle and run the P-Mag for the full 6 weeks. Rip this sh*t up bro!

How would you suggest working it into the cycle??? Would a simple 4 weeks spread between the end of the cycle and beginning of PCT be okay? I figured I could probably start the Blue-Up once the Formestane runs out for Test boosting. Am I making sense?
 
Day 2

Today was far from what I expected for my second day ON.
I woke up kinda groggy and definitely had some trouble getting moving this morning. Took my time getting to the gym, but not before popping 50mgs of Pmag about 30-45 minutes before getting there. I also had about 100g of oatmeal for breakfast. I did however, end up adding about 5 or 6 teaspoons of sugar for taste. But only b/c I am fresh out of raisins.

Once at the gym I must have been so focused on moving weight I totally forgot to jump on the treadmill for my usual 10min warm up walk. I sat down on the sled and pounded out 4 good moderately heavy sets. All I noticed was a slight cramp in my right glute which remained until I had finished my 185lb smith machine lunges which made made legs and butt hurt for 4 days last week. I'm excited to see how I feel in the morning after today.

The worst part of the day came once I got home from the gym. I ate my chicken and brown rice until I pretty much couldn't eat any more, then tried to make a phone call but could barely keep my eyes open. Needless to say I spent the next 3 hrs passed out in my living room.
I had a pretty tough time getting up to get ready for work as well, but once I got showered I felt 100x better.

Work I thought would suck but ended up being a kinda fun day working with a guy who has a very different lifestyle than me. And I only got upset once today! Thats good for me, even when Im not ON. LOL

All in all the only thing I didnt like about today was the extreme tiredness after my workout. I dont know if it was from the PH or how much I ate yesterday, or what but IT SUCKED!!!

Oh yeah, my diet is still and will most likely continue to be my biggest setback.
Today I ate:
100g Oatmeal
approx 12.5 oz chicken breasts
brown rice, unknown amount (med. bowl)
2 chicken breasts w/ provolone cheese on kaiser rolls
2 Pb&J sandwiches on Honey Wheat bread
1 Shaved chicken sandwich on Honey wheat bread w/ mayo & ketchup
1 50g protein shake
and I will eat something before bed but not sure what. Probably a teriyaki chicken breast or two and a casein shake with skim milk.

I am just not hungry like I should be. Plus I HATE cooking! Any food ideas or easy to make snack ideas are appreciated.

If I remember correctly, I saw it recommended (formestane) starting week 3 through the end of your cycle and overlapping it into the first two weeks of PCT. This is how I plan to do it in June when I do my P-Mag cycle.

I've also seen it starting week 4 and overlapping into the first three weeks of PCT.
 
Day 3 Update

This morning was a little better cause I let myself sleep a little extra. Getting up was much easier than yesterday but still tougher than the past few weeks have been. Breakfast was a quick microwave pizza due to time constraints.

I met my trainer at 10:00 and we hit some chest for about 25 mins. My bench was crappy at 215x5 225x4 205x3 w/ 2 assisted reps.
After that was some incline DB press with 55's. Got 3 decent sets w/ neutral hand position with assistance on last 2 reps of last set.
Next, hammer strength bench. 2 plates/side for 12-13 reps. And again with only 70lbs/side for 14 reps.
Next 3 way push ups, 2 sets of 15= very hard. My left shoulder was done for by this time.(Old nagging injury)
Finished up with about 5 mins of weighted roman twists/medicine ball tosses at a slow pace.

On a good note, we did a goals check and Ive put about 2" on my chest, 1.75" on my quads, and lost about 5% BF since Dec. 28th.
However, now that I think about it, my chest probably had a pump from the workout. But oh well, I guess now I gotta keep those numbers up now.


Overall, very good workout given the circumstances. The only real side I am noticing so far is just a little lethargy ~ 1hr post workout. I chilled for about 1hr and showered now I am actually kind of wired again. The aggression has not been a problem yet and I'm praying it wont be. Oh yeah, Ive been extremely gassy for 2 days, but I attribute that to the increased food intake, not the P-Mag.

I will update again after work. As for now, I know I need to eat again.

Def add in the formestane...my last cycle was pmag and I had good results like this:

pmag 100/100/100/100
form 0 / 0 / 50/ 100/ 100/ 50
so basically start the form week 3 of cycle and run til week 2 of pct

then start blue-up week 3 of pct

Right on. That sounds like a good plan, plus word is the formestane helps with muscle hardness and definition very well. Any opinions regarding the hardening effect of TD Formestane are very welcomed.

I think I will definitely go the route of the TD Formestane simply b/c that'll be 2 weeks less worth of pills to swallow every day during PCT.

If I were to end up running P-Mag for a total of 6 weeks, would the same dosing protocol be appropriate? Meaning 50/100/100/50 starting week 5 of P-Mag into week 2 of PCT???
 
Day 3 Update #2


The info from my prior update is still accurate, however I am beginning to notice a possible second side effect. I'm not 100% sure if its P-Mag related, but I drink a lot of water throughout the day normally, but don't urinate a whole lot. Today I felt like I had to take a leak every 2hrs, which may not sound bad, but I can usually go a whole shift at work and only pee once maybe twice. I know I went at least 4x today and several times before work also. But like I said, its still in question whether this is PH related or not cause its only happened 1 day.
I was also a bit irritable today but I attribute that more to boredom and the people I had to work with tonight.

On my plate today was:
1 Tony's microwave pizza-due to time constraints
chicken breast
brown rice w/ applesauce
2 shaved chicken sandwiches on my honey wheat bread
3 slices roasted turkey w/ gravy
3 ladles full of mashed potatoes
1 PB&J on honey wheat bread and Im gonna eat the other on in a few mins.

On a side note about my food intake, I ate right before bed last night and upon getting in bed I kinda coughed/choked from laughing and vomited a little from my nose. It was only a little bit, but it burned a bit and smelled like, well...puke.
So I don't know if I'm eating too much or just too much with each meal. I usually feel pretty bloated after lunch and dinner for sure. Last night was no exception.
I know I gotta eat to get the size I want, but my bodies is not cooperating.
Any opinions/ideas???

I've never ran a cycle for more than 4 weeks...but maybe you can just do a slower taper still starting at week 3 of the cycle. Maybe starting at like 25 and working up slower.

Ok I see what your getting at.

Out of curiosity, the formestane, does it help harden your entire body or only the areas of application? As for the insane libido, that is definitely one thing I am NOT looking forward to seeing as I am extremely single and have fairly strong religious beliefs regarding sex outside of marriage. So needless to say, the addition of the form could make things better, or worse...I'm not real sure.
But thanks for the input Matt. Keep checking in as time goes on, hopefully my logging skills will improve as much as my physique does.
 
Day 4

Once again, waking up each day keeps getting harder. I woke up around 9:00 which is actually and hour and a half later than I was getting up easily last week. However, I do feel like I am sleeping through the night better as I typically wake up 2-3x/night.

Once I got to the gym and found out my trainer actually had a nice 5x5 workout written up I was in a much better mood than when I woke up 2hrs late.

My workout didn't seem to be going any better than normal until I was almost done. I really got a good squeeze in my lats doing bent-over rows w/ over hand grip. This was a superset with DB pullovers, which are a huge favorite of mine. I didn't really feel a huge pump once I was done until I changed my shirt in the locker room. My lats looked considerably fuller than they have for quite some time and even my abs are starting to show more and more each day. The vascularity in my arms is becoming more noticeable as well.

As far as recovery ON thus far, my legs still hurt from Monday morning and my pecs are sore today and are probably gonna be even worse tomorrow. However, my back/lats are hardly ever sore, so when they hurt, I know I put some good work into them.

Side effects are still very minimal. The increased in urine output I mention last night seemed to be related more to my water intake like I assumed because today was a normal day in that respect.
Aggression may be starting to become a problem but I do not want to point fingers yet cause I am still in the progress of training myself not to get involved in malicious gossip and general negative conversations. But I did get pretty annoyed once today, but I cooled off just as quick, so I don't know if that's considered an accomplishment or a failure?
The only side that is obvious at this point is A.M. and post workout lethargy. I have however suspended my used of Jack3d while ON due to hypertension concerns. This may be related to the post w/o crash.

On another positive note, I do feel a bit more confidence in the things I do lately, which can be related to PH use.

Diet today was crappy b/c I crashed for about 2hrs post workout and didn't make my two extra Pb&J sandwiches for work. Therefore, there is no way I consumed enough calories to do much of anything today.

This lethargy has to be taken care of because I have to meet some people tomorrow morning at 11:30 so I need to get to the gym around 7 or 8am to be done in time. Plus, I slept 10 years of my life away and I REFUSE to go back to that!!!

Thanks, that's pretty much exactly what I wanted to hear. But yeah, I will definitely keep everyone updated the best I can. I am on vacation starting Saturday so I am looking forward to P-mag "kicking in."
 
Day 5

Waking up today was a little easier than the past few days seeing as I had to take a gigantic leak. It took me about an hour to get to the gym though, I just couldn't get moving.

Today was arms day at the gym and unfortunately I must admit it was a very sloppy, unmotivated gym visit. The biggest problem at first was my Left elbow. Its been kinda tight for a few days but it was a bit painful with light BB curls and the same with skull crushers. After grumbling for a while my elbow seemed to miraculously stop hurting almost completely! But still no motivation. Long story short, my workout SUCKED today.

Upon getting home I was once again exhausted so I laid down for maybe 20 mins and took 50mgs of DHEA before my shower. However, I still ended up sleeping about an hour before work after my meeting with friends.

I am seriously considering a single scoop of Jack3d pre workout tomorrow just to see if it helps with energy levels. Although I am concerned about hypertension problems arising. Any thoughts on this???

My diet is lacking due to all my naps. And the lethargy still seems to be the only side effect thus far.

To everyone keeping up with this log I say Thank You, b/c I know it is put together poorly but at least I'm trying. I never thought a log would be this hard.
 
Day 5

I've had nothing but great workouts when I take Ragnarök before lifting while on cycle. BP has always been fine. I imagine Jack3d would be fine. The point of being on cycle is to have good workouts so you get bigger/stronger, right?
 
Day 6

Waking up today was a challenge again as usual seeing as I crashed on the couch from 8-10:00am. However, once I did manage to get my butt moving it wasn't a bad day.

I don't remember the exact time but I think I got to the gym around 10:45am and left about 12:15. I also decided to go the route of 3/4 scoop of Lemon Jack3d pre-workout. Today was a dreaded shoulders day which I hate since I've had a nagging Left shoulder injury for almost 3 years now. But much to my surprise once I got into it the workout turned out to be pretty nice as well.
I surprised myself immensely when I put up 205x5 on smith machine military press. I haven't done that movement in at least 6 months and haven't got to that kind of weight in probably 2 or 3 years.
After a few sets of front and side raises with the resistance bands I followed up with rear delt raises and a few sets of shrugs, during which I could still feel some discomfort in my sternum. To counter, I tried shrugging with my chest out and head back instead of forward which seemed to do the trick for the time being.
I finished up the "average" shoulder workout with a moderate abs circuit which ended with 5 sets of 10lbs weighted roman twists X 25, 20, 20, 15, 40. My abs felt nice and tight after that.

Diet today was less than perfect mostly b/c I have no discipline when it comes to eating.
I can't remember what I had for breakfast, two PB&J's I think, but other than that I ate:
One 50g protein shake
One 7 serving sizes can of shredded chicken with mayo and relish-Post workout
One shaved chicken sandwich on honey wheat bread
One Tony's frozen mini pizza
One and a half chicken breast sandwiches on hamburger buns
One PB&J sandwich on honey wheat bread just now
5 or 6 "Magic" cookies. I know they're unhealthy but they are delicious. And they where free at work today.

Im gonna try to eat my other PB&J sandwich and down a scoop of casein with skim milk before bed but I'm kinda on edge with the whole vomiting outta my nose the other night.

Side effects are still very minimal thus far. Only thing is still the morning grogginess. However, with the addition of the Jack3d pre-workout I did not have the post workout crash today like the past few days. And just to be safe I popped 50mgs of DHEA after showering and prior to sitting down to relax and read. I was able to read what I wanted and didn't get super tired, so I think I might be able to make some head room against this lethargy in the next few days.

On a positive note, again I see my abs are showing a little better than a few weeks ago and my forearms are becoming much more vascular with just a little bit of work.

As for now, my call ends at 7am and then I'm on vacation for 9 1/2 days with no major plans other than lifting hard and seeing results.
 
Day 7

Today was an off day. So after waking up very late and eating a huge bowl of oatmeal and blackberries I laid back down. Long story short, I just woke up about 20 mins ago and I am posting this at 7:40pm. Plus I have heartburn right now, which is far from normal and is also the second time Ive noticed it since last Sunday.
I am definitely gonna try to stuff my face a little more today and I will update again tomorrow.

I am really looking forward to week 2 cause that's when people say P-mag really starts to kick in. So we'll see.
 
Day 8

All I have to say is, WOW! People were saying P-Mag usually kicks in the second week and today is the start of week 2 and my workout this afternoon was phenomenal.

Today was legs just to get it outta the way for 7 more days and holy cow did my strength seem to come from no where. Not to mention a considerable amount of endurance as well as insane focus.
Workout consisted of:

Squats-315x5, 365x5, 405x3 1/2, 405x4 1/2

Hammer strength single leg curls 90x8, 100x8, 100x8 holding last rep for 8sec
SS w/ Hammer strength single leg extensions 110x8, 130x8, 130x6

Smith Machine Lunges 135x5, 185x5, 195x8

Three-way sled calf press 298x10x3 298x10x3 298x15x3

Abs consisted of half crunches x25
toe touches x25
10lb Roman twists x20, x20, x41 + 9

IMO this workout was way better than average with better than avg. weights on squats. My stamina and focus were also on very on point. My focus was so much so that I was able to work through a anxiety/panic attack after my 3rd set of squats, get it to go away, and still have a awesome lift session. PRAISE GOD!

I have had absolutely no sides today other than a bit of irritation from the lady I give a ride home from church but that's normal for me. The lethargy has not been present at all today. However, I did sleep until 7pm yesterday and got 7 more hours of sleep last night and also downed 3/4 scoop of Jack3d prior to hitting the gym today. But when it all came together its been an absolutely fantastic day number 8 on my P-mag cycle.

To those who are following this log, stay tuned, cause if the entire 2nd week goes this well I plan on stretching the cycle out for the optional two more weeks for a total of 6 weeks. Lets just say "At this point, I'm very happy.:head::head:"

I'm trying to have similar results from a much different cycle compared to yours. I dunno what the end will bring, but I am definitely enjoying the ride!
 
Day 9

Today was another amazing day in the gym. Waking up was a breeze at 7am and after a ginormous bowl of oatmeal & blackberries I was at the gym by about 8:45. My workout today was exceptional.
It was as follows:

Flat Bench- 135x10 185x8 for warm up then,
205x5. 215x5, 225x5, 235x4, 235x5(but last 2 reps were sloppy)
SS with decline push ups x5

Incline DB Press- 60x5, 70x5, 80x5, 90x5, 90x4
SS with bosu ball push ups x 5

Single Arm, Flat DB Press- 50x5, 60x5, 70x5, 80x5

Single Arm HS Decline Press- 60x5 80x5, 80x5

Then finished it all up with an quick abs circuit-
Straight Leg Crunches +10 lbs behind head x 25
Toe Touches +10 lbs x 25
Weighted Roman Twists 12lbs x25, x20, x15, x30


I was able to stay focused the entire workout which I accredit to the 3/4 scoop of Jack3d pre-workout. Only thing I noticed was a very slight, and I mean slight, headache while finishing up the HS Decline Presses.
Other than that I have experienced zero sides today. My energy level is up, I am able to concentrate more on how long its been since I last ate, and the aggression level is still very well under control.

I am definitely enjoying this ON time while its lasting. I looked much more defined when I changed post workout today and am seriously considering going ahead with the optional two extra weeks. Cause if its this good at 9 days, I can only imaging what 30 days will be like if all continues to go so well.

i might of missed it but did u post your body weights

I usually weight in right around 220lbs on an average day. One of the trainers at my gym saw me in the locker room without a shirt and said my BF appears to have dropped significantly since December 28th when I signed up to be trained. The most I weighed at that point was 240. But I dieted down to about 211 for a few days but couldn't keep the weight from coming back on every day. That was maybe mid February of so I think.
 
Day 10

Today was yet another awesome day in the gym IMO. I let myself sleep in a little b/c I had a appointment around noon so I didn't want to lift first. So around 9:30 I had another giant bowl of oatmeal with blackberries then laid back down till about 11:30.

Upon getting home I ate a chicken sandwich, took 50mgs of P-mag and 3/4 scoop of Jack3d and headed out to slam some steel.
Recovery ON cycle is not what I had hoped for as my quads are still quite sore from Sundays destruction of them. However, my chest is not sore at all.

Today was a back day, another favorite of mine.
After a 10 min warm up walk on the treadmill my legs loosened up quite a bit and I was starting to sweat so I had a feeling it was gonna be a fun lift today. And was it ever...
It consisted of

Eccentric Pull Ups: BWx5, x5, x5, x5, x5
SS with HS High/Low Row: 180x5, 230x5, 230x5, 250x5, 250x5

Lat Pulldowns: 160x5, 180x5, 200x10(which is significant b/c I usually work with 140-160x10-12)
SS with Reverse Grip Pulldowns: 140x5, 160x5, 160x8

Bent Over Rows(overhand grip): 155x5-sloppy, 145x5-clean, 145x5-clean
SS with DB Overhead Pullovers: 65x5, 75x5, 90x7

Ans finished up with an abs circuit again like usual.


I have no noticeable sides today. And I am noticing more definition everyday post-workout. Nice pumps in the gym as well, however, I've never been one who could hold a pump for hours on end. But my overall mood had been outstanding this second week. The aggression is still very mild, but I don't go back to work till next Monday so we will see what that brings.

Other than that I am very pleased with how this cycle is treating me. I am also getting a bit of the alpha male/confidence boosting feeling so many guys talk about.

The next two workouts are shoulders and arms, neither of which I thoroughly enjoy. I am excited to see how they go, cause they both sucked last week.
 
I am surprised you don't enjoy shoulders. That is one of my favorite lifts. all in all its looking good. Have you noticed an increase in your appetite?
 
Day 11

Today was the dreaded shoulders day, and I dreaded it for a reason. My workout started off pretty well with 3 good sets of heavy smith machine military presses then I just kinda lost focus. I attribute the sorry lifting today directly to the lack of structure to my workout. I thought I could get through a shoulder workout without a solid, written out plan of what I wanted to do, but apparently I was completely mistaken. So afterward I asked my trainer to construct a shoulders and an arms workout similar to the ones Ive been doing for the past week. I'm excited to see what he has for me tomorrow.

Side effects are still so minimal they're almost nonexistent. Ive yet to experience any acne, irritability, mood swings, or any more lethargy since last week. My appetite is not quite what I had hoped it would be but its only week 2. My weight is still hovering around 222-225lbs before bed, but muscular definition is really starting to show. My arms are also continuing to get more vascular.

I refuse to post my workout from today just b/c while I was at the gym I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. I couldn't decide what exercises to do, where to do them, and so on. I felt like a real geek.

If all goes well tomorrow will be a much more structured and intense arms workout. If that's the case, I will feel much more confident about posting my workouts for the whole world to see.
 
Day 12

Today was an arms day which is typically hit or miss with me. I did however, have a decent workout written up for me when I got to the gym later than ever.

I actually ended up taking all 75mgs of P-Mag before my workout today around 6:30pm because I slept all day and spent some time with my family which completely screwed up my lifting schedule. So needless to say its about 11:00 now and I'm still pretty wired.

All in all, the workout was solid. My triceps felt huge as I was finishing up my last few sets. The pump on my bi's was lacking compared to my tri's but I generally have a hard time getting a huge bicep pump anyways. I was unable to do my normal abs circuit at the end of my workout b/c I ate like 8 or 9 biscuits and a big dinner at my grandparents about 2 hrs before hitting the gym.

I did notice the same pain that has been bothering my left anterior elbow was not nearly as bad this week as it was last week during straight bar curls. I was also able to do my favorite triceps exercise of bench dips with very little pain to my sternum. It seems to be healing up nicely.

Workout consisted of:
BB curls: 65x10, 70x10, 85x10
Drop Sets: Bar x 10, bar x 10, bar x 10
SS with Bench Dips(weight on lap) 45x20, 90x20, 90x20

Standing one arm curls: I started with 15lbs DB's for the first set but switched to resistance bands for the remaining sets.
(IDK the resistance for the different colored bands but they were able to get me a little better pump than plain DB's. So I'm not gonna try to explain how I used them.)
SS with Sphinx's till failure: BWx15, BWx15, BWx12

Reverse Grip Curls: 40 on pulleys X 40, 20lb EZ bar X 40, 30lb EZ bar X 40
SS with Overhead Rope Extensions w/ drop sets: 110x20, 100x20, 100x15
Drop sets: 60x20, 60x15, 60x10



My arms like they had a pretty good pump after this workout so I was satisfied. Plus it was 82 degrees in NE Ohio today so I was sweating like crazy the whole time which makes it feel like an even better workout.

As for side effects, I am starting to notice an increase in libido, which sucks. Its hard to keep from thinking of the things I have no desire to do, especially when I've been bored outta my mind all this week. Acne is non existent, aggression is still very low and under control. However, hunger is not as elevated as I wish it was.

IDK if I'm gonna workout tomorrow but if I do, it will either be a chest or a back day again.
 
TBH, your log always sounds a little winey, i think you should invest a healthy positive attitude to all your workouts prior and after..

just my opinion, im still reading however.

No problems. Just trying to keep it honest and honestly some of my workouts have keen kinda crappy lately.

Days 13-15

Sorry for not updating last night, but I ended up going out of town for the weekend at the last minute. I took Friday off from lifting and wont be lifting again until Monday morning. Just gonna try to eat a bunch while Im gone and get back into everything next week.

Day 14 Update

Update for today, waking up was extrememly easy and was pretty energized all day. It was a boring day just hanging around a friends place but to my suprise I stayed in a very good mood throughout the entire day.

Only thing bad about today was a panic attacks that tore me up when we went to the bar tonight. The bar at which I drank ONLY water.

I am definietely excited to get back into the gym on Monday morning for another trashing of the legs. I feel fat from not lifting for two days already.
 
Day 16

Waking up today was kind of a joke b\c of Saturday night but I woke up around 9am and took 50mgs of P-Mag thinking Id be heading to workout soon. IDK what happened but within the next 30 minutes I was back in bed passed out until about 11:30am when the phone rang, THANK GOD! At this point the debate was whether or not to take the other 25mgs of P-Mag and go lift.....
So I decided to do that rather than not lift at all. Was that a bad idea??? I honestly don't see why it would be.

Either way my legs workout went very well. My squats went up dramatically from last weeks lift. But everything after them seemed pretty hard cause my legs were pretty beat from squatting and following up with HS single leg curls and extensions.
My workout consisted of:
BB Squats: 225x10 warm up--315x5, 365x5, 405x5, 405x5 all with no spotter which makes me work harder so as not to slam the weight on the power rack.

HS Single Leg Curls: 80x8, 90x8, 90x8 holding last rep of last set as long as possible
SS w/ HS Single Leg Extensions: 120x8, 120x8, 120x8--last 2 sets were done as Bilateral leg extensions just cause I like them better.

Smith Machine Lunges: 135x8 warm up-- 185x5, 185x5, 185x5

Three Way Calf Press: Body Weight + 85lbs x10 for three sets

I attempted an abs circuit but was to beat to do it right so I called it a day.


Upon getting home I wasn't very hungry but made myself eat one large teriyaki chicken breast before work.

I HAVE GOT TO START SHOVING MORE FOOD DOWN MY THROAT b/c there was some dude at the gym today who I've never seen before but he was friggin Jacked. You know, not like meat head huge but big enough to prove to anyone he knows how to put in work. And for me to feel like a skinny little boy walking by him made me feel absolutely pathetic. I want a body like that guy has and eating a crap load of more food everyday I feel will definitely help me achieve that.

P.S. A side not to anyone who wishes to make a "gay" comment about this post, if you workout and you've never seen another guy at the gym you would kill to look like, well...I think it's time you join a real gym and stop workout at Curves cause everyone looks good when you're surrounded by sweaty fat old ladies.

Day 17

Waking up today was pretty easy even though I was exhausted after my first day back to work yesterday in over a week. After pounding a large bowel of oatmeal I headed to the gym for a good chest workout, which I got.

Side effects are still extremely minimal if not non-existent at this point. The lethargy is not bad as long as I stay on a semi consistent schedule of sleeping/lifting/waking up. My appetite is still not what I would consider that of someone trying to put on size, but I am trying my best to eat every few hours. I feel I ate quite a bit yesterday. I am also noticing a bit more tightness in my anterior Left elbow everyday. The only thing that seems to help a little is to add heat prior to doing an arm workout.

Good notes: Strength is going up very noticeably every workout since week 2 began. I also ordered my 3rd bottle of P-Mag for weeks 5 and 6 Friday so that should be here this week. I am excited to see what 3 more weeks ON will produce strength wise. My arms don't seem to be getting any more vascular but staying the same. However, this is kinda hard to gauge since I wear a long sleeve shirt everyday I workout. Also, my mood has been pretty good since the start of week 2 but that's when vacation started. So we will see how I feel the rest of this week now that I'm back to work and all is back to normal during the day.

Workout consisted of:
Flat Bench: 135x10 & 185x8 warm up
210x5, 225x5, 240x5, 255x4, 255x3

Incline DB Press: 65x5, 75x5, 90x5, 90x5, 90x5

Single Arm Flat DB Press: 65x5, 65x5, 75x5

I tried the HS Decline Press but the first set hurt my shoulder/clavicle pretty bad (it was already sore at this point) so I cut that short and did a quick drop set on the Pec Deck of 115x25 drop set of 80x12-failure
I also forgot to SS my flat bench with foot elevated push ups so I just worked them in throughout the incline DB press.

Finished up with a crappy abs circuit and called it a day. I felt really good leaving the gym today and had a nice pump in my chest after the pec deck drop set.

IMO, great workout today simply due to the increase in the weight I'm able to move.:bigok:
