Clomid with test injections?

My friend just got put on TRT by his Dr, 200mg a week of Cyp, but the Dr also wanted him to take 25mg of Clomid a day, what’s the point in that?

I told him it’s no point to take the Clomid (he’s in his 40’s and don’t want kids) am I right or is it something I missed?
