I am currently using clomid for my post cycle therapy. It is doing an amazing job in retaining my gains and i think it is actually making me leaner and more vascular but I feel like an emotional wreck. I have read that extended use of clomid can have you way more emotional. The other thing is that i just broke up with my girl. i never took her serious and actually cheated on her several times (not proud of) but within the past few days i am just constantly depressed. no matter what im doing i feel the exact same way. I dont know if its because i miss my girl or because the clomid has me f**ked. I have broken up with my girl before for months and never felt any type of regret or anything but now im going crazy. What do yall think? if its the clomid should i quit using it or just stick it out?

my first week i was at 50 mg then the second week tapered to 40 and im going on third week will start at about 25. its crazy. its almost like im on drugs. at times i just want to cry ha. even my work outs are weird. but people all around me wont stop telling me how lean i look. its weird sh*t.

yep, your on clomid.
:lol::lol:I laughed so hard when I read this.:lol::lol:

It happens, but Clomid works really well at putting things back into working order. Its the trade off that has to be made. Hang in there.

what would you say the least amount of time i need to be on this sh*t? i can barely take 3 three days like this.

Sounds like clomid...Although your doses are kinda low to be expirincing the sides to that severe of a degree. Next time Try nolva I guess. I don't know what your cycle was but if you were really shut down just the lack of test can make you really depressed. Even if you weren't really shut down your androgen levels are depressed and that can lead to overall depression.

Tough it out. Imo 3 weeks is plenty long if it was a short cycle.

Next time try a combo of nolva / clomid and just run clomid through the major portion of the rebound if you can stand it and then you can drop it and just run nolva. PCT will almost always bring a little depression / decreased energy, just how life is.

If you cycle was only 4 weeks long and you're feeling recovered, get some 6-oxo and run that for 3 weeks just incase you're still in rebound and have excess estrogen/aromatase. Your LH should be on the rise by week 3, and as long as you keep your estrogen levels down or receptors blocked you should recover. If you are still in rebound and you drop the clomid without using an AI it could depress LH again and slow recovery.

i have been running restore by ALRI along with the clomid. I also have an AI on hand. could i stop the use of clomid and just pick back up the ai? my cycle was 4 weeks long

I agree... normally these types of sides don't manifest till you're in the 100 mg/day range but many complain about it at 50. I normally start at 50, drop to 25 then 12.5/day as I am very emotional at baseline.

what AI? I wouldn't use ATD, adex, or letro..Aromasin moderate dose or 6-oxo would be the only ones I would use.

After a 4 week cycle and 3 weeks of clomd you're probably fine though.

thank you guys for the help and the encouragement. i havent taken any clomid in three days i have just continued using restore. every day i feel a little less emotional. i dont feel shut down at all so i think i will just finish the next week with restore alone. thanks again for the help. any further input is always welcome.

I agree, I've only seen this when you go above the 100mg/day.

I wouldn't cut off the clomid completetly, but I would lower the dose!

PCT is always a rough time, clomid has been known to increase the emotional issues throughout PCT though...but it's very efficient in stimulating the HPTA!

good luck bro!
