Clen during PCT, wise?

Is taking clen during PCT a good idea? I read that it has anti-catabolic effects and will get rid of fat during PCT...but then again I've also read that one should maintain high cals during PCT to avoid any muscle loss...wouldn't the effects of clen undo the high calorie diet and yield to muscle loss? Someone clear this up please. Also if you do take it in PCT (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off) is it necessary to use something during the off weeks, like hydroxycut, or can I just not take anything and cycle up again in 2 weeks? Thanks in advance.
 
i would run it AFTER ur PCT. in PCT u want to keep calories high to maintain ur new weight, i just dont see clen helping that at all.

the best thing to run on the off weeks is an E/C stack

People differ, some people run it after PCT like nosnmiveins said, but others like to do it in the PCT, due to its ANTI-CATABOLIC effects. So the choice is really up to you, but i would take it on PCT, just for that reason.

No doubt it would be good enough by itself in shedding that fat. With proper diet, and exercise of course.
 
Clen also controls cortisol. I would take it during PCT, which I do. However, I'll keep kcals a bit higher than a PCT without it.
 
if your kcals are a bit higher does the clen still lower bf% or are you only using it for it's alleged anti-catabolic effects?
 
If you're burning more kcals than taking in then yes, if not then no. The main purpose for use during PCT would be anti-cat and cortisol control.
 
not trying to hijack this thread, but if I were to use clen in my cut, how should it be run/dosed?

Start at 40-60mcg max for the first time each day. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, unless you take ketotifen with it. If so, use keto after the 2nd week up until week 4 - 6. Up your dose when sides start to subside by 20mcg each time until 100-140mcg / day max.
 
I think I would want to save the clen for a cut then. Nolva would be enough for pct as well as on cycle support...I think no need for clen if it's only for it's anti-catabolic effects...because there isn't even a consensus that it has anti-catabolic effects in humans.
 
Numerous studies have been done on it's anti-catabolic effects on humans, as well as cortisol control. Clenbuterol is cheap, why wouldn't you?

Can you link a couple of those studies? Everything I've seen says its confirmed in animal studies but no human studies have been conclusive. Haven't looked for new information lately, though.
 
Weightshift - I did some more research on the physiological effects of clenbuterol on tested subjects, and you're correct; I originally inferred the content incorrectly.
 
Its no problem man. So many conflicting studies but studies are few and far between on humans. The large doses it takes to create the anabolic or anti-catabolic affects are so great that isnt deemed safe for a study.
 
is there a research site with a clen sale going on or something?...there have been a lot of these clen threads lately?
 
clen is great during PCT i wouldnt go higher then 40mcg per day though. itll help you keep those kcals high and help keep the protein turn over good while u control cortisol and increase some strength
 
i use clenbuterol durring pct myself

it helps me stay full and hold on to some strength although i still end up loosing a bit.

you have to do some reasearch as side effects are crazy on clen.

but for pct, i run it at 100-200mcg every day for 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off for 8 weeks (4 weeks of actual using it)
on off weeks, i take 50mg of benadryl before bed to clean out the receptors.

post cycle, since you end up loosing water, glycogen and some lean mass, your skin looks loose which makes you look fat and makes your definition go away. clen seems to help with that situation.

i also use clomid, nolva, 6oxo, and creatine post cycle.
 
I would consider a low dose of 40mcg perhaps, its anti-catabolic properties could help and that lazy feeling in PCT could diminish... I wouldn't dose it high though thats for sure!
