Clen and Ephedrine

im looking at trying to get ripped while not losing muscle mass. ive been given advise to use clen as a bodybuilder i know who competes says this is one of the best sources to use for fat loss while doing cardio to get in shape. however i also know about ephedrine supoosed to be good. can these be taken at the same time, you guys advise this?? if only one, which?
 
Alternate each day. Clen, ECA, Clen, ECA. (only use the clen for 2 weeks though)
 
2 weeks of clen ramped up from 20mg/day to 100-140mg/day alternated with 2 weeks of ECA for 2 months (don't ramp up for the second run of clen) is also an option.
 
why only 2 weeks for the clen? the guy i got them off told me to do 2 days on, 1 day off then 2 days on and so on. in my book anabolic minds 2005 it says clen can be taken for up to 6 weeks. im just desperate to start seeing my abs asap, and my diet and cardio isnt doing it alone....

Because your receptors get downregulated. You can use ketotifen to prolong your clen cycle in theory but most will recommend rotating them every 2 weeks
 
ah right cheers guys. ill give it a go doing clen for 2 weeks then ephedrine for 2 weeks and rotate that way.

also is it true clen also breaks down protein so will break down muscle. what do you suggest to prevent this. im also using winny to try and tackle this and still keeping my protein intake quite high. do you think this will be enough? i really want to get ripped, im just scared im gonna lose muscle too.

I wouldn't worry about clen being catabolic, many also use it during PCT so it's not going to put you in a catabolic mess. You can also run Lean Xtreme or Phosphatidyl Serine @ 900 mgs. to help control cortisol for PCT if it worries you.
 
personally, I'd use clen for 6 weeks straight, ramping up from 40-160mcg/day, and using either Benadryl or ketotifen during weeks 3 and 6 to keep receptors from downregulating (this idea discussed ad infinitum on Anabolic Review). Then I'd switch to E/C for 4-6 weeks.
 
IMO usually run 2 to 3 weeks of clen anywhere from 60-200mcgs and run ephedra 1 week off then jump baack on clen.

incidentally---running clen for only 2 weeks at a time just doesn't maximize results. 6-8 weeks is really impressive, and the only concern (well, the primary concern) was this downregulation and loss of efficacy. With the addition of the antihistamine, downregulation is kept in check, and it is then possible to extend the clen use for weeks. As well, it has been reported recently that E/C actually downregulates the same receptors, so the idea of doing clen 2 weeks and E/C 2 weeks, etc. is now a questionable plan as well. Don't ask me about the science behind it, but if you're interested look for hooker's article(s) on Anabolic Review for starters. There is some good debate about it, but it's worth consideration...
 
What do you guys use to eliminate or reduce cramps while on clen? I get bad cramps while on to the point I can't run because of my calves cramping.
