Citrulline Malate vs Agmatine

Is it known? Come on, you are killing me recently man. Like I said, this is stuff that has been debunked for a very long time now. It is well known arginine is the precursor to NO. Why doesn't that work? Now think about why malate might not work. What you are saying is painfully easy biochem, like high school level. If the world was so simple, we'd have cured multiple glycolytic disorders.

Apologies that I'm not pointing out more sources, everything else basically wasn't very clear apart from saying that citrulline malate works (couldn't get to the full text either since it's behind subscriptions and what not).

Actually, come to think of it, majority of these citrulline on performance studies used citrulline malate, so that doesn't really clear up what is playing a bigger role. Though I did come across a mice study where malate dehydrogenase more than doubled IIRC from training (mice on treadmill) so clearly malic acid is a substrate here for energy production.

Perhaps your saying that malic acid/malate can't be ingested on it's own and must be bonded with something (just a crazy guess, plus I see it typically being bonded with something, such as calcium malate, etc.)? If that's the case, does it make a case for taking l-citrulline on it's own then if one wants the same endurance benefits.

anybody use bigger doses of agmatine? im doing 3g a day. there's a product called neurofencine or something that has a 3.6g a day dose to restore nerve function, but they claim a "welcome stoof-softening" side effect. i dont see any indication of that at 3 g's. anybody do 6g's?

Old post...I know. But I Just took 3grams today and almost crapped my pants the entire day. It was awful. I had the worst smelling gas of my life!! It was amazing.

The only benefit to taking more is that you will be super regular all day long. So definitely no leg day. Lol.

In all seriousness, it will give you the runs pretty bad. Don’t go way over recommended doses.
