I just finally came across the funds to be able to pick up a couple bottles for my old man. He broke his leg skydiving while in the navy about 30 years ago and had to have titanium plates/pins in his tibia to fix the fracture. Then ~8 years ago the poor guy was hit by a car. Broke the leg again, plus the plate and several of the pins, as well as fracturing his foot in a few places.
Last year, just before my mother passed away, he was walking out of work and slipped on the ice. Tore his quadriceps tendon in what was his "good" leg. He was out of work for 7 months and was all but sedentary. (He used to be a competitive bodybuilder btw). He had surgery to re-attach the tendon, but it was not attached properly. His knee did not articulate correctly and it caused constant inflammation and pain. A few months ago he had arthroscopic surgery to repair some of the cartilage damage which had occured in that knee.
The guy is in constant pain, and be on his feet for more than 15 minutes before the pain/swelling is too much...I feel terrible for him. I was hoping to get him some cissus to try to see if it will help reduce the inflammation and possibly help with his injuries.
Anyway, is there any chance we'll see the $16 bottles of cissus again?
