Just have a few questions concerning Cissus Rx
1) From the lab test, we now know the Cissus does not contain andro but it still contains sterol compounds so I'm wondering: is safe for individuals under the age of 21 years? Please don't tell me cholestrol is a steroid so it is safe because this product is being marketed as having anabolic effects on muscle, not just bone, ligaments and tendons. Furthermore, literature provided by Patrick Arnold (on AvantLabs) states the steroids are comparable to Durinabol but even he stated he was skeptical about the literature. Also Invalid Link Removed compares the hormones to Durinabol. I understand the aforementioned link, though on a herbal shop, is indeed a medical study from what would be a pay site (could be wrong). I'm especially interested to see a response from USPLabs as I cannot find any solid responses from them concerning this issue of sterol compounds present in Cissus Rx.
2) Also, I'm thinking about giving a bottle to my father due to a shoulder injury. He's skeptical about "supplements" so I want to print out a bunch of medical literature to ease his mind a bit. However, while searching through PubMed I only found 17 studies concerning Cissus Quadrangularis. The majority of these studies only investigate the effects on ulcers and fractures which is great and all but my father's condition is ligament and tendon related so I wanted to find studies pertinant to his situation. The anecdotal information available on the forums is quite positive but with my dad it will see that information as just that, anecdotal, so any links to free medical sites with scientific literature regarding the effects of Cissus on ligament and tendon repair is appreciated.
Thanks in advance. I look forward to your responses!
