Cissus cortisol suppression

some thread surfing revealed that cissus has cortisol suppresing properties. Is this thru direct suppresion much like LX or Retain, or indirectly by reducing stress? does the normal dosage provide this or do you need to megadose? Just looking to see if I can leave out an extra supplement as cissus has became a daily staple.

thanks.

Cissus Q's mechanism of action is to block pro-inflammatory cytokines at the cellular level, as well as the gluccocorticoid family of steroids, of which, cortisol is one. Normal dosage will do it.

Normal dosage will do it with Cissus "RX". I would suggest a little more if taking bulk cissus. Can't wait for 10%! :)

yeah 10% is gonna be nice. For now I am capping bulk cissus form USPlabs and gonna megadose within a few months!

so does that mean cissus can be used during post cycle therapy instead of LX for cortisol.

Yes, you could but they are different substances with positive side effects other than cortisol control so one would need to weigh the options and decide which is right for them. Personally, I use both. The 7-hydroxy-deyhydroepiandrosterone in LX can raise T3 levels and has a slight anti E effect, good things in post cycle therapy but also tends to dry my joints out and make me creak, pop and experience pain/discomfort. Cissus taken in adequate dosage is anabolic to bone, tendon and muscle as well as an analgesic and anti inflammatory which are also good things for post cycle therapy and helps eliminate the dry joints in my experience.
If deciding to use both consider lowering the dose of LX a little as you will be combating cortisol from two angles and the goal is to lower levels not eliminate. I go 1 cap LX 3x ed and 3 caps Cissus 3x ed.
