Cimetidine and Viagra or Cialis

Occasionally I reads threads that describe the delayed effect of Viagra or Cialis. I have also read that because of Cimetidine's (the active ingredient in Tagamet and some other anti acid products) impact on CYPs, cimetidine interferes with the body's metabolization of Viagra and Cialis - resulting in an increase in its strength and duration of Viagra and/or Cialis.

I am not suggesting that anyone try this. In fact, I am told that combing these products has the potential to have serious side effects.

But I am curious if anyone has thoughts on or experience with co-administering Cimetidine and Viagra and/or Cialis.

I've never heard of this...but honestly if my cialis becomes any stronger there will be much "bigger" problems

I have access to Cimetidine right at home.... Not sure the S/O would appreciate even more than what i am doing now. 😨
What are sample dosages/mg for the test subject to try?

Here is a study with 400 mg

Co-administration of cimetidine resulted in significantly higher plasma concentrations of sildenafil, reflected by a significant rise in AUC (p<0.0001) and a significant increase in C max (p<0.0001). The k (elimination) of sildenafil was significantly delayed (p<0.0001) and the elimination half-life was prolonged (p<0.0001).

Interesting... The study itself looks legit I guess. I can't see looking at things from my side that it can't hurt to try as Histamines in general I have used at various times for allergies. I will follow the report and see how it goes in the next few days.

This is interesting , I know cimetidine has some estrogenic properties. I was once reading about using for potentiation of other things and people said just don't use it to often....

Tried it on the test subject once a few days ago. (Per the article dosing scheme)
No adverse effects. Not sure yet as to the claim of a prolonged period of use. Will need a few more tries with the test subjects volunteer before reaching a conclusion. I will say that after the time allotted, a visible level of interest was still seen after 30 minutes. That does occur from time to time.
As I said-Need a few more runs at it.

Thanks very - and thanks for no pictures.
