Hi guys! I recently tried few products containing Cognizin and I started looking into choline product more, however I am very confused about differences between:
- Cognizin (Citicoline)
-Alpha GPC
-Choline Bitartrate

Also, which one is the most beneficial and why in your opinion?

Ya there are many sources of choline out there. Each offers varying degrees of effectiveness and some slightly different effects.

Choline Bitartrate:
-Cheaper form (doesn’t necessarily mean it’s bad).
-Water soluble and more limited crossing of blood-brain barrier.
-Therefore requires larger doses, minimum 500mg-1000mg in most cases.

CDP-Choline (Citicoline):
-Also helps with conversion to uridine (helps neurons repair so more cognitive benefit).
-Crosses blood-brain barrier easily.
-250-500mg typical dose.

Alpha-GPC:
-Easily crosses blood brain barrier.
-Possible GH and power output improvements when taken pre-workout.
-300mg-600mg typical dose.

Are you after it for like study improvement, preworkout, or brain health? I've done a lot of research on it, so I'll give a quick rundown of what I think is best for what.
Alpha GPC: preworkout. Most expensive, and has best bioavailability

Cognizin: study/focus, best bang for buck, should last longer,

Bitartrate: I tried but didn't feel much. Doesn't have great bioavailability, didn't feel like it did much.

Simple, Alpha and Cito work to enhance focus and bitartrate does not (good for liver health though).

Thanks for reply. I am looking into improving memory, productivity, study, focus and endurance during mental stress.

I use Alpha-GPC probably the most out of them.

I’d try that and Citicoline and compare, you may find one works better for you, but I bet you’d be pretty happy with either.
