anyone else have trouble with choc iso? I got the ban iso and it mixes great, but I can shake Chocolate for ever and it still has little lumps of choc in it, taste really good, just kind of feel the lumps going down...

I will also say the Banana Isolate is the best tasting protein I've had.

Anyone give a report on the Vanilla Isolate, I've never found a vanilla that tast good, might give it a try...

I also have the chocolate isolate and no problems with mixing.

Could be the time of year it was made. Cow milk is heavily influenced on the season; the food they eat changes depending on the weather and the seasons and as a result, their milk has different properties based on that. Any whey extracted from that milk is going to be influenced by it. As a result, sometimes cows produce milk that yields whey protein of high mixability and other times it clumps.

It's not really a big deal, it still taste good, I e-mailed you.

Hey - Email em, I would like to get 'back' a sample of yours, at my expense, of course.

Just go to GNC or any health store and buy a shaker with a screen that sits at the top when you close it. It helps break up all of the lumps of the shake mix while you shake the mix. Maybe All The Whey can help you with one, as well.

As I see it, chocolate flavored milk mix and shake mix are alot alike. If you can remember when we were younger (some to today still), whenever you mixed a glass of milk with Hershey, Ovateen, or Nestle chocolate mix, there were always lumps on the top of the milk.

Apparently it may have something to do with chocolate since no other flavor seems to cause this problem.

You guys NEVER cease to amaze me with your vast knowledge.....sometimes, i just sit back and watch a thread develop.

THANKS

I've had it happen with banana as well as pineapple.

No manufacturer of whey protein can ever have perfect mixibility in every batch, and it is because the properties of whey are reliant on the cow milk they came from. That milk is heavily influenced by diet and season and as such dietary changes, etc. in the cows are going to greatly effect any whey that is produced. You'll find that all whey manufactured around a given time is going to have the same texture and mixability.
