Well iirc there was this case a while back, that a lady went to help after someone got run over.
She got took to court and was sued for the injuries sustained, even though all she did was help.
Hence why you see this going on, can't blame people really.

Thats why you see people walking around people who get hit by cars or try to commit suicide etc

People are paranoid of lawsuits as ridiculous as it sounds because there is widespread scam's going on over there.
