where can i get some cheap plate weight???

i have been watching the bargain post.

i need a local gym to go belly up or something,

any leads?

Not quite sure what you are asking but if its what I am thinking you could look for an auctioneer adn see if they auction off gym's that closed down, that is how I got most of my stuff!
 
wal-mart or meijers, kmarts, they might not all match what you have, but I have found found them at those places cheap

Of course, the cost really comes in when you start talking about frieght. Maybe you can find something within driving distance for you to pick-up. Auction or otherwise, that will save a bundle.
 
Ever notice that a lot of weight plates say MADE IN CHINA? I just noticed that a while ago. It still amazes me that its cheaper to have cast iron weights made and shipped half-way across the world then have them made in USA.

But to order them online have em shipped... $$$ go figure
 
If you go to Ebay there is a guy that sells an auction for like $175 and you get 500lbs of weights of whatever assortment you want....and he only allows pickups, no delivery.
 
Sports Authority always has the cheapest plates I've seen around here. They have buy-1 , get-1 free sales a lot too. I got all mine half price that way.
