Charity powerlifting competition supplement help

My local gym does a charity powerlifting competition every year in December and I've never participated. I'm thinking I might do it this year and I'll have about 3 months to train for it.

Bench, squat, deadlift. I'm 6'5 220 lbs currently and probably 12-14% bodyfat. They measure it as a multiple of your weight so it's kind of a function of getting stronger while keeping weight in check. I'm a pretty good bencher and decent deadlifts, my squats are ass to grass but not very strong.

Any advice on supplements to use. I was thinking creatine HCL for less water retention and PA XT. Not sure what else to use. I'll start another thread on training.

I’m guessing you’ll be lifting in 231 lb class? And unequipped? I used to power lift a lot in my 20s/30s. In which case you could gain a little weight if you wanted to. Creatine HCl or MCC-or just regular mono if you wanted to gain some water weight. Prime XT for strength, Uro B, PA. I had a great run over the last couple winters with those.

There aren’t any actual weight classes. It’s pretty informal. They just weigh everyone in and if I’m 220 and deadlift 440 they’ll give me a 2.0. If someone else weighs 150 and deadlifts 375 they’ll give me would get 2.5 and beat me. So every pound technically matters.

I’ve never tried MCC, what’s the difference from CHCL? I do like UroB so I might have to throw that in too. Prime on torn on. I’ve used it one time and seemed to help a bit but not to the extremes for some people.

Thinking Xgels (with PA) and Creatine HCL for the month prior to comp. Extra Beef and Sweet Potatoes and Water for strength.
