change in norcodrene?

So basically both the new alphamine's and norcodrene's "novel" ingredients are caffeine and l theanine? Wow. Also I love how for a few pages in this thread the solution has been to buy the 5plus missing ingredients in bulk and add them back! Haha, the point was to have these together for convenience.
Oh well I guess PES is catering to a new crowd now. No worries here, just means I will be in search for new innovative companies.

Focus shift on Alphamine is going to more of an energy drink than a thermogenic.

It's for all athletes and really anyone even to replace a coffee, and stacked with High Volume a great pre. Now with no worry of not wanting to use a burner on a bulk, or when you're not cutting.

Something this also changes is taste, this is going to be next level when you see what we can do without some of the harsher ingredients.

If this is the case then you guys should have changed the name. I now have to tell all the people ive reccommended my fav fat burner not to restock... My girl was about to place an order for her and her friends the other day. Im sorry but i was expecting better. You guys have such a solid rep.

If she prefers the old version there will be plenty on sale in stores right now.

The new one is a different focus and is targeted as more of an energy drink than a 'fat burner'.

Just curious. Why not keep Alphamine (even if it didn't have Y) and make a separate product as the energy drink focus?

Already on it lol. I get it just misleading. It has been alphamine thermogenic powder. Like i said one of the best supps ive ever used. Hands down. Thats overall. All categories.

Have they not reformulated both multiple times?

I thought there was 3-4 versions of Erase/Erase Pro and even the new Erase Pro+ or whatever all differing from the orig formula for it and ABE I thought had several versions as well?

I am not fully aware on this but I thought it was. My first PES supplement(s) was Alpha-T2, Norcodrene and Alphamine back in the start of 2014 or about's that time so forgive my ignorance on their past history.

Honestly and truly disappoint to see one of the best and I mean best FATBURNERS leave the market and become dulled down to what's available now.

A focus and low stim energy supplement should have been completely separate IMO but I wish PES all the best with it either way.

Oh no they absolutely have reformulated them before but each time they actually moved forward. The Cistamax in ABE was a nice addition and KSM in erase was too.

I meant that I don't think they'll make sweeping changes that completely alters the product into a new category (I.e. Fat burner to energy drink).

I'm also not sure on positive international compliance, but I don't see anything in ABE that would cause issues.
 
I think they are competing against ON Amino Energy now, a crappy product that sells like hot cakes to the masses...

Ya I don't think they will be changing it from what it is to something different either
 
I think people need to stop complaining and just accept that its gone and just buy something else.

Having too many SKUs that are vaguely similar can be detrimental actually. We still have many products coming in the future I think the forum crowd will appreciate.

Wow this is really ****ed up. Thank god I have a full tub of the old Alphamine left. RIP Alphamine I will no longer be buying it after I finish this tub.

Same with Norco, I got half a bottle of that left with the good stuff in it that you can't find anymore. Only reason I can think of that they changed the profile was to be able to market it to a larger customer base who may think that things like Yohimbe are unsafe and make them feel cracked out. As of right now I can tell you that the only thing I will be buying from PES in the future is the Select, Amino IV and High Volume. Hopefully they don't change the profile of those either cause then I will switch to another company completely.
 
Energy drink market is much bigger than the fat loss market.

Just as we all suspected and complained about earlier in the thread. Truly pathetic effort from the PES team on this one.

If it weren't for Ergonine, I would be 100% done with PES. People let your wallet speak for how disappointed you are with this.
 
So will be there an alternative to Alphamine? It would have been really nice to not keep the name if it ends up as an energy drink for athletes. If the price remains the same, it is even more "interesting" given the ingredients.

The thing is - people already have too much of this mentality with supplements. I always say I am like Fox Mulder - I WANT to believe. The fact is, most products don't do anything at all and having consumers that are willing to keep buying "new" things to try them is what keeps too many supplement companies in business. Coming out with "New" is more of a money maker than coming out with "Effective".

PES wasn't part of that game, and I get that they probably left a ton of money on the table playing the way they did. But we can see that clearly changing.

I have to admit it is a credibility hit when we are told how awesome SA2 is for fat loss and appetite suppression, HICA is for muscle retention, etc. - and then they are dropped completely. I mean, dropping HICA has to be due to costs, it wasn't a compliance thing, nor was it a "main stream" vs. "hardcore" issue.

Yes! If you don't like the new Alphamine, you can always buy it and then buy the missing ingredients and build it yourself! Not just convenience, this could also be a safety issue with some people who may not be able to accurately dose the Alpha-Y for instance.

I'm sorry man. You're a great guy, but this argument is extremely weak. I don't need to pay $30+ a month for something to flavor my water with or to replace my coffee. And to get this at the loss of Norcodrene and Alphamine is a huge loss. If it was in addition to, that would be a different story, but it's a replacement that doesn't seem to cut it.

I am hoping there is A LOT going on that we are unaware of, hopefully a kick-ass fat burner that will truly replace what has been lost. I respect you a lot man, but please don't try to tell us that these are sufficient replacements for the two predecessors.

New direction, fine. Honestly, I'm all for your group making money, that's the name of the game and I hope you make a fortune. You've done a great job. Losing Alphamine and Norcodrene - it's like a friend dying, but ok, we have to accept things in life. Don't try to tell us nothing has changed though or that these are improvements. Maybe as part of a larger line change, there is something we are missing and these will fit in better, but they look more and more like Weider products. And that's really sad.

muscle tech and all the other industry giants have multiple skus with yohimbine based formulas. the "wider audience" thing is laughable- cost cutting move through and through.

PES is now the George R.R. Martin of supp companies. They keep telling us Winter is coming (Stim PreWO), and then they kill off our favorite characters (RIP Norco/Alphamine).
 
All this disappointment will make just make it all the sweeter if PES does turn around and surprise us though.
 
I absolutely love the "if you want it,you can buy it in bulk" response. I rather drop the product right away than try and get it back together with numerous bulk powders. I hope ABE will stay the same or will continue developing in a better direction as it was doing. Also very interested in seeing the new products, highly unlikely that they will release a brand new product that could cause such negative uproar, at least I hope so
 
Things like this make me lose interest in supplements. Much rather just spend my money on whole foods and drink milk.
