In my latest labs, my progesterone went high at 2.6 ng/mL [range < 1.4 ng/mL] up from the previous measurement of 0.8 ng/mL.
Possible causes for this are switching from HCG monotherapy to testosterone cypionate and/or adding DHEA supplementation. DHEA numbers are too high so I'm cutting back on that.
Interestingly, my estradiol levels actually went way down (below range from above range) during the same period.
Anybody know if there is a conversion pathway between DHEA and progesterone that would cause this? I'm just kind of curious as to why progesterone increased while estradiol decreased.
Also, what are the symptoms of high progesterone?
