Causal Analysis Over Performance Enhancing Drugs

I am writing a Causal Analysis for school, I'm not quite sure on my exact question but it will be along the lines of Why Are So Many People Against Performanvlce Enhancing Drugs? I don't think I will specify or focus strictly on sports in it though. I was wondering if anyone had any good Studies or Researche Papers that would help specifically with this. I am writing it as I'm for the use of them.
