CardioTryx or Xtend Perform?

anesthetize

New member
Hey everyone. I have been doing quite bit of research as to which might be the best endurance supplement to try. I have found good reviews for both CardioTryx by EvoMuse as well as Xtend Perfrom by Scivation. Unfortunately I have not found much in terms of comparison between the two. Anyone have first hand experience with these products willing to chime in with opinions / benefits of both?

I am currently training for a 100 mile bike race at the beginning of August and would like to try a product which might assist me. Thanks in advance!

In for answers as well but if I were you I would do both. When you doing that long of a race it's good to fuel with some amino with some added carbs, I'm sure you already knew that, and the CardioTryx is supposed to help you breathe.

I'm interested in both products as well.

I would use both products. I am currently using both and I am enjoying the cardio and endurance benefits for my marathon training. I am also able to keep my strength.

I'd probably try both if you have the money to get both. If not I would go with extend. It tastes awesome.

Just some of the feedback based off Xtend Perform on Anabolic Minds:

Performance- 10/10, I'd score it higher if possible. This product delivers on its claims. Increases strength/endurance/pump, decrease rest time between sets, aids in recovery (no doms, soreness), increase endurance (makes fasted cardio very easy)

this stuff simply works, been increasing weight and doing extra reps/sets on all lifts this week, very little rest time needed between sets
sipped on xtend perform throughout, made cardio session easier than usual

"I want to get a little review Up in here. It has been a few days now that I have stopped using xtend perform. (bottles gone its magic)
And Right now, I really wish i had some more intra workout , it tasted so good. DEF miss tasting and drinking that every day.
SO far now that its gone I realized how good of a product it was now that I am not using it.
"

"another great workout, pump is noticeable early and throughout, decrease rest time between sets, felt strong and able to do extra reps
breezed through cardio

"Had a 2.5 hour upper body session last night. Started with deadlifts, then incline reverse grip press, then negative heavy incline bench, then straight arm pull downs on a bar. Then narrow grip chest press on HS, then Y rear delt pulls, incline flies, standing shoulder press, seated curls, seated overhead tricep press. My muscles gave out before my energy did. Love Perform, damn!

"My goal was to hit 13 by the end of the tub, and that has been realized so I am very happy today. Calculator says that my current vo2 max is 57.7, meaning I have seen an increase of 2% since last week, and 5% overall. Though 5% overall may not seem like a huge increase, it is important to note that the only thing I really changed was the addition of the Xtend Perform. I have actually been swimming a bit less frequently due to my schedule than I was before I started taking the product. 5% increase in just two weeks is a pretty solid increase for anything from a supplement (non-anabolic of course). It is also important to note that Vo2 max is a non-linear measurement of fitness, meaning that it tapers off asymptotically after a while, so there is physically less room to increase the higher you go. The results I get from this product could be significantly more or significantly less than what you could get depending on your current fitness level as I understand it, though it seems pretty clear just about everyone is making serious progress in their logs. Looking forward to the next test!"

"So yesterday (saturday) I actually was able to finish my second beep test, and I made it to level 12 shuttle 10! Marking an increase of 8 shuttles overall and a new Vo2 Max reading of 56.6 ml/kg/min, up from 54.3 last friday. I am Pretty happy with this result, though it is not a gigantic increase, since the only thing I changed in my routine was the addition of the xtend perform. Definitely excited to see more quantifiable results as the run continues. My lower back was giving me a little trouble, and this weekend has been hectic as all get out, so I may push my long run into the week, and maybe squeeze in legs today if I can, since all I had time for yesterday was the beep test. The future is looking good!

Plenty more in the logs we have on the product at the moment bbartsche lifted67 jaredmus chzcake01 mikelly1107 1Fast400

You mean Xtend right :)?

If I had both, I would choose both. However, if I had to pick, I would choose Xtend Perform, purely for overall performance's sake. That cordyceps militaris in Xtend's Peak02 will help you a lot....

CardioTryx in my opinion and from experience is like both a fat burner and cardio enhancer that lasts about 2 hours for me. From my experience, Cordyceps militaris lasts more than 2 hours... Had a 3 hour training in the afternoon, and I felt the improvement in performance for the whole 3 hours and I felt I could continue and do more... Also with Xtend Perform, you can drink it before and during your 100 mile bike race.

Both are excellent products but in your situation, I believe Xtend Perform will be more of help. I might just crack open my bottle of Xtend Perform early right now and give an unsponsored log of it...

Please do

Definitely appreciate the responses guys! It seems like each product might be useful for certain aspects of my training. I really like the idea of being able to dose the Xtend during my race. Might be a silly question, but would there be any ill effect from taking multiple doses of the Xtend Perform throughout the day during my race? If I did choose to do this would any one have recommendations for how often I should dose?

Right now I'm trying to figure out an optimal dosing scheme for myself if I do make a log since I train twice a day, with longer hours and if I should discontinue my bulk cordyceps militaris. I think for you, maybe one scoop before your race, then one scoop during your race.

2 Scoops Per Day
to get 4g of Peak02 as shown in the study done on the product.
For those who train we suggest around their workout (pre/intra for example)
for a race I would suggest one pre race and sipping on another during.

I've only used Xtend Perform but I can tell you I did a intense 75+ minute upper body weight training session and then followed it up with a 30+ minutes of league soccer (as a sweeper) and I felt amazing, stamina for days.
