Cardio Ideas

Scrutiny

New member
I’m recovering from a surgery to my foot and cannot put load on it such as standing normally or walking normally etc.

I am all good to go back to the gym as long as I don’t put load on it, and at the moment my cardio is suffering.

I can’t run, cycle etc or even use the rowing machine because of the load it places it on it unfortunately.

Does anyone have any cardio ideas for upper body only and/or that won’t use my one foot?

Cheers.

I’m a little confused, if you can do those simple activities how can you work out. I would think even carrying a plate to the machine or even bracing your self with weights would strain you more than some of that stuff. Maybe you could work on pull ups, hanging leg raises... I mean other than that I would worry about slipping up and causing more damage than your helping. If it were me I might wait until I could do more and let everything fully heal. Can you swim? That would probably be your best bet for cardio if you can!
