Cardarine during PCT

Ive heard that cardarine may be a beneficial addition for a PCT, not only due to its obvious/main purposes but for properties such as improving HDL and also controling cortisol.

Any truth to that? Can anyone confirm?

Tried researching about this but what ive found was inconclusive. Seen some people mention this around but not exactly credible sources or providing any proof.

Or if there is any other reason for including this in a PCT protocol that i havent mentioned, please feel free to add.

Yes and during cycle mostly due to cholesterol and a huge boost in energy but it also helps with other things.

What "other things" would that be? Could you go more in depth?

I take people have talked about this subject mostly by anecdotal evidence? Or are there any studies that you know regarding these properties?

Just Google cardarine benefits. There's a lot of things that's been proven. It protects the liver kidneys etc. The liver protection is i believe against fatty liver disease which is not related to aas as far as I know meaning you should keep some protection on the side for the liver. But just the cholesterol is such a major thing, the energy you get from gw is outstanding and these two are all I care about.

in rats treated with GW501516, increased fatty acid metabolism in skeletal muscle and protection against diet-induced obesity and type II diabetes was observed. In obese rhesus monkeys, GW501516 increased high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and lowered very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL).

That's a Wikipedia quote, but Chados is right, just Google, and a lot of info will pop up.

May be of interest that I had bloods done around 3 weeks back - just after running cardarine for 5 weeks in pct (started midway through).

HDL was very high and all cholesterol related readings were very favourable....

Now unfortunately it was the first time I’d got bloods so not having a baseline is clearly a major flaw in saying the gw had anything to do with it but I can say for sure that after taking it my results were very good......

I thought the general consensus was to stay away from GW because of its potential for cancer?> hahah

I have used it in the past and it was amazing for energy, but since then EVERY SINGLE forum posts have been negative. Not sure what caused the sudden hatred, maybe now its re-surging again

What dosage did you take?

I just started it, also for use during my pct. I’m not super interested in it’s endurance cardio wise, but any endurance lifting would be welcome at this point.

As for the cancer thing, as far as I know it all stems from one study done a while ago. Whether or not the study holds any weight, all the changes in opinions on forums must just be talk .. (unless there are new studies OR real evidence of cancer from actual people who have used it).

That aside, I’m starting at 10mg dosed pwo

That study was crap, they were giving mice 1mg per kilogram of weight daily, I'm 162 pounds or 73.4 kilos. that would mean i would have to take 73mg daily for weeks just like in the study. And the general rule of thumb is 10mg to 20mg a day for no longer than 8 or 12 weeks and then you cycle off.

Wrong. It's not a 1 to 1 conversion. This is how you calculate mouse to human ratios: Invalid Link Removed

For me, a mouse dose of 1 mg/kg translates to 0,075 mg/kg, which equates to roughly a 7mg's dose.

Yes, it’s not worth it to me.
