carbs with xtend during work out???

I currently drink a wpi/oat shake 30 min pre work out and 2 servings of xtend during my workout then a wpi/pure vitargo shake post work out. should I add some carbs to the xtend during my work out, if so would the vitargo be the best choice?

No need for carbs with xtend.
 
Mix some grape Xtend w/a little grape gatorade (sugars) and sip during my workouts. I like it.:thumbsup:
 
It is definetely not needed, drinking Extend during workouts is good enough. No need to through in carbs. Although, when I look back to my swimming years, I wish I had a good source of liquid carbs when I would have 3 hours practices.
 
I've been finding Avant labs supercarb to be the ideal workout carb source. It tastes like sugar, so mixes nicely with any protein powder/amino acid mixes. It keeps my energy levels very even right throughout a workout, allowing me to finish strong instead of burning out at the end.
