I run keto for 14 days, carb on the 15 then every 7th day after that. Remember carb ups are not cheats keep your carbs limited to veggies and oats (low gi) and you will reap better results.
I don't know about keto speficly but I like the weekly carb up on my low carb diets. You can probably go longer if you'd at a higher BF but as you get sub 15% carb ups need to be regular. If your like sub 12% than you really need a weekly refeed.
Again though I don't know abot keto diets since I don do them

This isnt really true. If your cals are low enough on a diet then the refeed can be pretty generous. I do most of my carb ups with cereal, fruits, lowfat popcorn and whatever reasonably low fat snack I want. Also have white bread sandwiches ect. So not clean but not pigging out but definitely a cheat. It serves a purpose and you'd be surprised just how many carbs you can handle (1000-1400g in 1.5 days is my norm). You do need to find the carbs that don't make you hold too much water though or it becomes uncomfortable which for me means mostly corn based with light use of wheat but no potatoes and sugar is fine... Thats me. But I could NEVER eat 1000g+ of veggies and brown rice. I also prefer to snack my way though with 50-70g ever 1-1.5 hours
Some people actually propose crap loading or skip loading which is high fat high salt and works amazing for bodybuilders who can handle it aka not super endos.
