Can you check if your HPTA is fully developed?

I see people saying that you can hurt your HPTA development if you start steroids on a young age and i thought to myself, besides waiting until 25 which is the most common age, is there any other way to see if your HPTA is fully developed?

The reason that it’s better to avoid using gear at a younger age is because your test should already be very high. You should take advantage of it while you can; learn how your body responds to training and diet. You’re better off not risking suppression at your age because of this. Everyone runs the risks of the side effects regardless of age; using gear at a younger age just isn’t as wise because you’d be tampering with hormones that are in their prime.

I think 25 is still too young. 27 for 4-6 week cycles with extremely thorough pct, possibly. By the time I was cycling 12+ week cycles in my mid 30s, my natural test was cut in half within a few years putting me on hormone therapy by 37. I’ll probably be taking Cialis the rest of my life from the damage done. So, be ready for all these things if you’re dead set on pulling this trigger.
And basically, everything Guru said too...

Whether or not your HTPA is "fully developed" you will still be doing damage to it when cycling. You will suffer a reduction in the capacity of your HTPA when your system gets shut down, the longer the cycle the worse it is. Might be a 2% reduction, 5%, maybe even 15% reduction or more. This is what you must keep in mind befor you decide to go down that road. Because it is addictive and you probably wont stop after just 1 cycle.

I think the only thing that may prevent HTPA damage is taking a SERM on cycle to prevent shutdown. And although doing this has worked for me and others, its still rather unproven and still a gamble.

Why would taking a SERM on cycle prevent shutdown ??

Why would taking a SERM on cycle prevent shutdown ??

I’ll let the guys who have actually done the research explain it. But, I like the idea and I’ve reduced the amount of AI I’ve needed over the last few months because of this theory. Not that I care about restarting my HPTA or anything, just way more effective for me at diminishing estro sides caused by factors other than aromatase.

Serms have a high affinity for the receptors in your pituitary gland that signal your testes to produce testosterone. They block the hormones in your system that tells your body to stop producing, and actually do the opposite, signal the body to keep producing even in the presence of excessive hormones.

If you wanna mess with hormones now then mess with gh, not testosterone. They give gh to kids. I’ve never heard of gh shutdown and I don’t even know what those symptoms would be.

That sounds awesome to be honest, but it won't work on everyone?

You scared the **** out of me dude, that sounds like a horror story

Then why isn't everyone on gh?

1. It’s super expensive
2. It’s often faked or underdosed
3. It takes a while to see results
4. The results are nowhere near steroids

Most bodybuilders use hgh in combination with a lot of other drugs. But used on its own it still has benefits. You’ll recover faster, lose body fat and stay lean easier, gain muscle a little easier, maintain muscle while in a calorie deficit easier. You’ll gain some strength. There’s plenty of anti-aging benefits too but at your age that doesn’t matter much.

You don’t have to do actual hgh to see all these benefits though. You can do an hgh secretagogue instead, like mk677. It won’t give you super hormonal levels and results as good as actual hgh, but it’ll be a lot better than natty.
jinsung can tell you about peptides that boost gh and igf1 if you’re gonna go that route. There’s been a lot of talk about those lately and he seems to know his stuff. Or, rather than having him show up here and repeat himself, check out the post on mk and fat loss if you want. There’s plenty of talk about peptides and stuff in there.

What he said. Also the lethargy with high gh is a real thing. If people complain about lethargy just on Mk that boosts your hormones 50% think about how you'll feel if gh and igf are boosted 200%?

An effective (AAS like) GHRH and GHRP cycle would be arround 350€ - 400€ a month. That's like 5 to 8 test cycles just for a month's use of peptides lol. Bc of this I have only done an Mk cycle thus far. It helped in revers dieting yep and with the bulk, but I tryed cutting with it and it was a no go for me. To much hunger.

Also to add to Ricky's post: what slowly kills your hpta when cycling is leydig cell apoptosis. The cells in your balls that create testosterone. You can prevent this to a high degree by using hcg on cycle so your balls don't stop producing test and thus don't shutdown. No idea how much a serm can help. It has been speculated that serms act directly on your balls - not just hypothalamus. If this is true, having a serm WITH hcg on cycle might do something. But I would not rely just on a serm as this is all still speculation.

Will taking a serm and hcg on cycle help with rebounding to your normal levels faster when pcting?

Thanks for the update

As far as I understand taking SERM would help avoid getting shut down

Therefore what SERM and dose I can take for 1,4 Andro and EPI 8 week cycle

This is my 1st cycle , I’m 41 and I have been lifting for about 4 years continuously
