Can someone explain what is a suspension solution / cons ?

In 2 or 3 sentences what is the problem with something like PCT solution (or anything else) in suspension? I understand there are solid pieces inside the solution but I dont get what Im reading when I look up "in suspension" enough to understand the problem with it. Im guessing something about uneven distribution but I cant grasp anything past that.

1) why are people knocking it, so I can understand why its bad VS other forms of ingesting your desired "drug".

2) are the solid pieces the actual drug, and the liquid just something its stored in?

3) is the liquid the actual drug, and the solid pieces just something used for stirring?
 
Suspension means its suspended or has "become one" with the fluid its in. If you leave it sit, there will be no settling at the bottom.

Solution is like If you added creatine to a cup of water. If its not stirred, it settles to the bottom. If stirred, it'll mix in, but will settle upon standing.

I think this is accurate :)

I think you got it backwards, but I could be wrong and the explanations for each are solid.

My "in suspension" just-in-case PCTs & Sildenafil have solid pieces in them - I think you are right - so the solid pieces are the actual drug I want to be consuming?

Because they don't even fit in the provide pipette. Pshhh.
 
I don't think ones "better" than the other. I will say the argument could be made youll
Have more accurate dosing with one vs the other.

Herderdude may be right I might have em backwards. Google dat chit dont listen to me! Suspension vs solution.

Other way around.
Suspension are preparations whereby the actives particles are not dissolved in the vehicle (doesn't necessarily have to be a liquid). A liquid suspension would therefore require shaking to allow even dispersing of the particles (and sometimes need a suspending agent)
Solutions have the actives completely dissolved (in solution) in the vehicle

Well I tested it out and indeed drawing some of the suspension after mixing it well , lead to a decent looking pipette with some solid particles in it . however some of the big pieces in the suspension will never fit into this pipette and I understand the problem with this kind of inaccurate dosing a little more, I think.

OH MY GOD MY PIPETTE MARKING IS A 0.1 ML NOT 1.0 IVE BEEN USING ONE TENTH OF A MILLILITER FOR MY DOSING THIS WHOLE TIME AHHHHHHH

I just found another pipette and was like, wait, why is this milliliter so much bigger?

publicly admitted shame. thought better less than more ! much much better (for me at least)

Just take it as a learning experience, not the end of the world! At least you figured it out when you did. BTW, I use research chemicals all the time and never have any problems with them. I found one vendor that I trust and do business exclusively through them. There are a lot of shady people out there in Internet land
