Can SD be made into a topical solution for transdermal?

Has anyone done this? Would it be worth trying? I'm going to give it a try eventually and thought I'd ask.. Is it a stupid question? :p
 
Bad idea. SD is methylated to be 99% available orally. Transdermally would be about 20-30% absorption.

Why would you want to do this?

Methyls arent suited for topical delivery. Its a waste, since the 17a-alkylation maximize oral bioavailability.
