Can joint support supplements inhibit your gains? And dosing time...

Since glucosamine(+condro/MSM), cissus and fish oil are all anti-inflammatory, and weight lifting is pro-inflammatory, could they have any impact in muscle gains?

And if/when supplementing with them, should i dose as far away from work out as possible?
 
I recall reading that msm is anti parabolic on ergo log I think. Ben Pakulski used to say that glucosamine reduces insulin sensitivity, which is in agreement with the anecdotal experiences I have seen.
