Calves, how do you make them huge?

Whats a good workout to get huge calves.

Should I do like 7 set 20 reps?

4 reps 8 reps?

how many exercises? how many days a week? How long the rest period?

Be reborn with better genetics!

Jk. My advice is two fold...

Do them separate from leg day (2 days before or after)

So seated/leg press calves followed by standing.
Go heavy for 12-15 reps full range of motion for 3 sets on each exercise, it should be difficult! After your third set, do a quick set of partials to burn out, very rapid fire reps will occlude the muscle and then feel the blood flow into them!

Also incline walking, running, stairs, etc works your calves. If u Orer train them they won't grow! U use them every day so remember that!

Ps- rest period 30-45 seconds between sets..

Arnold did calves every other day.. you can do try that if worked for Arnold

Try doing them atleast twice aweek.. not with legs if possible. 3-4 exercises.. i would stick with 15-25 reps

I heard that u can do calves EOD or so....
I like to put my toes on the leg press machine with 2-4 plates on it and get a burn...
I also do standing and seated...
U don't strength train calves so go for a pump & burn.

Could be my genetics but I never trained calves for more than 12-15 reps. I usually would do around 8 plates on the seated press and maybe 1000lbs on the leg press once a week. My calves have always been big since then.
I have heard that because we are on our calves all day they need a different form of training. So waking is basically low weight high rep, train with lower rep high weights. I just think its all about progressive overload though as I didn't start at 8 plates or with 1k lbs on the leg press. Just add weight every week.

I do three sets of 18-25 reps and three different exercises 3 times a week. I do standard calf raises then I do them with my toes facing inward and then outward with the same distance apart. The weight ranges depending what mood I'm
In. Works for me, genetics has a big part in it to.

Barefoot running shoes like Vibrams or Merrells will change your foot strike (if utilized correctly) to engage the calf muscle as a shock absorber instead of the massive heel pad on most conventional running shows. I've been wearing them for about a year now and my calves have grown exponentially. If worn correctly you will see a definite difference in calf development...IMO.

Volume...
If it's like the avi, I'm train every muscle like that.

Arnold overtrained like a mf as did everyone else in his day. Anything Arnold did won't work well for about 95% of the people out there especially if you are a natty

Agree on this...op when you get on 1000mg of test and eat dbol like candy then do calves everyday lol it'd be super hard to over train then...until then try different things until it works
