Bulk or cut

Judging by my pic should I bulk or cut first? I don't know my bf%, my eating has been up and down for last couple months cause I can't decide, I don't want to lose my muscle I've put on and I don't wanna get fat, football season just started, I was thinking I should cut during the season since I'm doing a lot of cardio, just scared to lose gains, I was a lot skinnier than this before I started lifting, belts been about the same, think I might have lost a little bit around that region Invalid Link Removed

I would guess you are at 13-14%. Use the US-Navy method to measure your BF, quick and easy. Try to look up 'carb cycling' to get the best of two worlds, and then you can cut later (f.ex before the beach season).

Depends on your physique and strength goals; sounds like you don't entirely want to do either. Options could be:

- Follow a little seasonality, carry on lean bulking for the next 6 months until March, and then do the more usual 12 week cut April to June. (Sounds like this wouldn't be for you depending on what you count as getting fat)

- Go on a mini bulk/cut cycle, i.e. lean bulk for 3 months, cut for 1 month, repeat (From what you've said, this is sounding like a good way to go)

- The third option would be non-natty (and I don't know what the forum rules are for this, if any).
