breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

Woo! We have over 2ft here on the North Shore.

I've got about 8ft piled along my driveway lol. The snow was close to chest level towards the road from plows piling it up. I wasn't sure I'd make it through that wall, but I'm finally free.

Been there... but thankfully not today! Sucks about your back though - been there too..

Pancakes look great, bet they hit the spot.

Today was worse than yesterday, but at least I'm not trapped anymore.

Pancakes look great brother! Be safe up there

Thanks man.

That snow sure is pretty.

From here, in Florida.

Thanks man. Definitely let me know if you are. The gym is massive and has10x more equipment than any I've ever been to. It's a great "no frills"environment to train in as well. Most members take training pretty seriously, from the beginner crowd to the professionals. It's cool being able to talk and train with some of the monsters that show up as well.

Yeah, I gave it a shot. I think you might be targeting your chest better with tucked elbows because it's helping you keep your chest up throughout the movement. I didn't notice a big difference, but I'm always focused on keeping my chest up.

Let me know man. I can probably rearrange my schedule if I know in advance. You can train for free as well.

Yeah, they're a keeper. I'll probably do them again next week.

Nice back work bud. I love the banded t-bars!

P.s. Nice hoodie ;)

Thanks man.

It's pretty awesome. I normally wouldn't train in a hoodie, but these are a light cotton blend (like the t-shirts).

Banded Smith Squats
sets of 20, 15, 10, 8, 6 -->drop 10

Another unwanted off day. I got up early to try and shovel out for work, but I finished about an hour ago (with a couple breaks) because finding room to put the snow is a problem. I think there's been 5ft in the last few weeks and its not going to stop until around midnight.

On the plus side, I found my mailbox.

That's crazy... we have been getting constant snow falls but nothing like that...

Yeah, I've had enough lol. We got about 3ft the first blizzard, 1.5ft a few days later, and there's about 20" so far from this storm. Someone just told me that it might snow Thursday-Sunday too.

cancelled my trip to MA, trying to get up there for Thursday for work and get those Cape Cod Nutrition Corners. Unreal the snow recently

Ya we got off pretty good till a couple of weeks ago.. making up for it now lol..

That mailbox picture cracked me up ha. That's just brutal.

Good idea. There could be more snow Thursday too.

Lol yeah, I was starting to think we would get through the winter without much snow.

That mailbox picture cracked me up ha. That's just brutal.

It's probably buried again by now lol. There's been 6ft in the last couple weeks so far and could be up to 3ft from this storm by tomorrow morning.

Time to build a home gym and just pack it in and become obi-wan the hermit.

Sheeeeesh I would be extremely stir crazy

I still go wherever once I can get out of my driveway. Most people aren't afraid of the snow here, although some still suck at driving in it. My gym hasn't closed once and I shoveled out in time to train this morning.

I'd build a sweet fort if I had the time. :)

The deer are sick of the snow and decided to travel by road.

Dinner is getting away.

I'm on MA now luckily only less than an inch today. Saturday you guys are getting hammered again unfortunately :(

Nice. Are you just staying down around the Cape or coming up towards the city?

I had an early morning light leg session today.

Seated Leg Curls
6 sets of 10

Adductor / Abductor
4 sets of 10 / 10

BB Back Squats with chains
worked up with sets of 6 until it started feeling heavy (either 425 or 435 with chains included)

-8 sets total

4 sets: The chains I grabbed were a little short, but long enough that they wouldn't be swinging around everywhere. They bottom link started just barely off the ground at the top and just barely remained on the ground when the bar started to flex a little.

Super Leg Press Machine
4 sets of 20

-duck stance, deep, stopping short of l0ckout

Lying Leg Curls

Here's the leg press machine that was used.

Nice work with the chained squats brother. I'm extremely envious and jealous. I wish my gym had them. I like those leg press machines too

p.s. Is that squat racks as far as the eye can see in that video :jaw:

Nice job.

Lol got it. I'll try to respond when I get to work.

No rush. I'll be making another trip up in April for a big event in Chicopee. About 20+ brands will be there, at Absolute Nutrition Center (Don't know if youve heard of it) but I know a couple of IFBB pro's will be there. We're bring Shaun Clarida our newest... I know he's a Meadows client too. Excited to see where John takes him this year when he competes

Thanks brother.

Yes, but it transitions to cages towards the other end. There's a lot of everything as far as the eye can see.

I don't get out that way too often. I do know of Shaun Clarida (giant killer) though. He and Meadows are doing great. I'm a member of a group that they're both in and Shaun has been posting progress pics.

Yeah I'm very very excited to be working with him. And hopefully train with him once or twice, he's about 10 mins from me lol

That'd be cool.

Wow. I just got that much more jealous. That is literally incredible.

That gym is just massive..

Yeah, there's never a wait for anything and that's only 1/4 of the gym.

Heading to the gym before I get trapped inside from another blizzard. Temp dropped as low as -6 on the way there. 2 pairs of gloves and my hands feel like they're in a bucket of ice.
