breezy's training, supplementation, and food log

Boring but big; it is insane. Some people don't like it because of the high volume deadlifts and the fact that deadlifts require technical 'perfection' and generally require 'reloading' before attempting a second, third, fourth rep etc. but I did it anyway. 15x5 is exhausting lol

I'm the same for the most part, but I re-evaluate monthly/ add in a new block of training then revert back and so on. Lately i've been doing 3 weeks strength 1 week deload, 4 weeks hypertrophy then a one week transition phase of light recovery then back to strength etc.

I tried combining the two using 5/3/1 + BBB then assistance hypertrophy using a upper/lower upper/lower split but the volume was nutty and I burnt out after a month lol. I loved it though, i'll just have to incorporate more deloads more often.

I will keep that Deload in mind. I am sure I am due for one.

I only do them now because my lecturer goes on and on about adequete recovery lol but man does it improve my mental wellbeing
 
I'm not having the best day. The replacement phone that I received about a month ago suddenly stopped working and looks to have the same issue as the previous one. Thankfully, I'll have a new replacement tomorrow. I had planned on HIIT this morning, but due to being on the phone (landline) for ~2 hours with phone company it wasn't a possibility. I should have more access to the forums later tonight.

Did you buy the phone from the same place? I had a similar issue, sorta. I bought a phone in a shop that sells only Vodafone phones and it crapped out so I bought a new one of exactly the same and it did the same after a few hours of me owning it. I took both back and explained that they were having the same problems but refused to take them back; I later found out that they were just repairing broken phones and trying to sell them as new; long story short, I got back my money lol.

I originally bought my phone at a Verizon (phone service) retail location. Replacements are shipped overnight from them. I believe all of the replacements are "certified like new". The one I ship back will probably end up being sent out as a replacement at some point. I don't have to pay anything for my new phone.
 
Speaking of iPhones does anyone know how to type in all caps without hitting the shift button everytime?
 
Double tap the shift til it turns blue, it works like a caps lock. If im understanding your question correctly that is.

Gawd I want a new phone. I cracked my 4gs but it still works with minor visability issues so I refuse to be liberal with my money and purchase my upgrade. That said I'm done with apple for now. Can't wait to get a phablet (those bigass phone-tablet things...)

You can get a new screen and replace it yourself for like 25 or 30$ it's pretty easy to do too

Nice workout breezy. I haven't had my phone for the past few days and I have all my music on there. Really makes a difference for me personally whether I have my music and headphones or not. Still get awesome workouts in, just feels weird not having my own music playing.

Thanks kbayne. Yeah, it was definitely weird at first, but I got used to it pretty fast. They bump classic rock in the early morning at my gym, which isn't too bad. The biggest difference for me was having my workout planned on paper instead of referring to my phone.

Thanks Dan. I had a tough time with them as well. I narrowed my grip quite a bit and it made a big difference; much better chest contraction that way.

Lol. Luckily my gym is massive and there are separate rooms/sections with different music choices depending on the time of day...they usually keep the top 40 behind closed doors in the studio haha.

I didn’t feel very well last night and woke up in rough shape. I have a fever and have gotten sick numerous times today. I felt ok after a trip to the bathroom this morning and attempted to hit the gym…It wasn’t the best idea, but I got through a workout with a small break in the middle.
