I do them religiously. I have a friend that is a Chiropractor, Nutritionist and a bodybuilder with his pro card. Has been a guest judge at the Arnold a few times. He was watching me and telling me that contrary to popular belief, some peoples upper legs, from knee to hip is so short, it just wont get parallel. Im in that boat. I cant get parallel with zero weight on my shoulder. The knees, just old injuries that I never took care of. Tore an MCL and never had it fixed. STUPID

Let's see if this stands bc this time I absolutely could not hit another rep and my knees and hips r really pissed at me right now

Ok here's mine .. had to use a smith style machine which I've never used before .. all the racks were taken and I have limited time tonight..and i realized later the it was a crappy angle . So 215 for 45 .. .. Invalid Link Removed
 
after watching both videos I can definitely say great job gentleman. However, keep in mind me and Titan are the judges on reps and we are asking for atleast parallel so once midnight hits we will discuss it over and we'll have to get anal about reps cuz it's too close, as of now there's 3 guys on top
You guys are all killing it thou ! Loving all the entries , and I love that you guys are posting your vids even thou it's not the "top" number , everyone should be proud with their performance

Not going to get any complaints from me .. that's as far as my knees will let me go .. I know mine are not as deep as others ..

Stil beast mode man ! It was awesome , just since it's so freaking close I gotta make sure We're being fair main thing messing me up is the angle . Still loved it and still great job bro.

Agreed I watched his and his are better .. mine aren't bad for being 40 with bad knees though..lol .. lawesome job bloodthunder!

Here's what I carry and I'm a size 32 on a heavy day. A gun, a flashlight, oc spray, two pistol mags, a rifle mag, a taser, a baton, two handcuffs, audio recorder, gloves, and a ring to hold a large flashlight. I have no room for anything else. Literally. In full uniform it adds an extra 28 pounds to my body weight.

I feel for you bro. I remember all the crap my dad used to have to carry. Its rough. Heres what I carry when Im in full turnout gear. Bunker pants, coat and helmet, fire and extrication gloves and my hood. In my pockets are various tools, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers and a large folding knife. My coat has a flashlight, a hook to stop doors from closing behind me, and extra medical gloves. Pants also have a 20' piece of webbing, a 30' piece of webbing and a small self rescue bag with carabiners and 30' of 8mm rope. Extra carabiner in the other pocket. Then my SCBA(air pack). If Im on the ladder truck, I also have my own personal Chrome axe with a leather belt and sheath. All in all, about 65-70lbs before I grab any tools or hose. And when I was in Iraq, all of that with a ballistic vest under the coat. Good times!

All of my in laws are professional fire fighters. I've tried on all the gear I've done the drills. It really sucks man I feel ya. But there are a lot of times during the day where you can just kick back with out that gear. Maybe not in Iraq but here you can. We fight all the time about it. They think I'm stupid cause I'll run into a gun fight without hesitation. Done it. But I think they're stupid cause they run into burning buildings. Lol. To each their own I guess.

Yes sir! I have nothing BUT respect for my blueline brethren. The good thing about being in the South, is that MOST of the police and firefighters get along great, no hatred like it is up North. H3ll, Inrun around with a bunch of Cops. And you are correct, we get a LOT of down time(after 5pm) and its great. But I can get that fire at 0200 in the morning and work harder in 3 hours than most people will in a week!! My dad and I pick at each other all the time. He says "fireman, eat till youre tired, sleep till youre hungry, repeat", then I say "hey, 5 more points on the public servant exam and you couldve been a firefighter too". Too much fun. Lol. For what its worth, I have a "I got your 6" decal with the blue line on the back of fire helmet and my personal truck!
 
I can't carry most of my tools of the trade on my belt. Use-ta-could working as a stick framer but as a big timber framer, the tools changed a bit.

We love all our police and fireman! Thanks for all your hard work and constant training! No one thinks about it until we need you guys. I set at a desk 90% of the day.

Yeah yeah. And just to clarify to anya d everyone else, we at BPS are actually an honest company. No bribery will award you anything. Now, I'm off to sleep, when I wake up Im sure Alpha and I will discuss the squats, hell announce the winner, and then whenever I feel froggy, Week 3 will be announced!! Nite fellas! Hoping to wake up to 1 last killer squat video!
