BP Issue

I was thinking of running a mild ph cycle and decided to run protobol. Now i am on day 10 at 50 mg and a minute ago i measured my BP; around 140/100. I ran LGI Damage Control alongside and some days ago i added some extra howthorne berry. I am surprised and i guess i need to stop the cycle usually a support supp does the trick for me. May i can ask for some input. On Superdrol + 4 Dhea my BP was better?!

have you run it multiple times to see if it was consistent..?

I also added agmatine in addition to hawthorne when my BP was running high on cycle..

Also a lot of on cycle support supps have good blood pressure reducing supps in them.

That's not terrible at all bro, yes higher than normal. it could be a lot worse. But add some more goodies for blood pressure

I agree with this. Often people will have elevated bp through a cycle almost no matter what. 140 isn't terrible but def keep a close eye on it. I would add something like tadalafil if you can as well. It'll help open everything up for you

How has your water intake been? I know it's basic but I feel like my BP goes up on cycle if I even get slightly dehydrated.

140 isn't terrible but the 100 on the bottom is not that good.

I read from someone on this forum that sometimes it is a good idea to preload Hawthorne berry supplements for a week before beginning a cycle. They said its because Hawthorne berry raises blood pressure when it is first introduced into your system before it starts lowering it.

Sheesh I've had higher bp and I'm on prescription meds are you getting mas headaches or nose bleeds?

It caused headaches. This morning 144/92. I will add a Natto product additional. LGI is not good enough for dealing with BP. I loved the astilbin version of AL Talos this worked wonders. Oh and i added also 100mg Acetylsalicyl yesterday. It could be worse i agree nevertheless 4-6 weeks with headaches is a No go for me. Was thinking of some extra Nitrates as well.
Appreciate the feedback so far thx.

Celery seed and hawthorn definitely are life savers.

You read correctly, hawthorne is really the only thing that needs to be preloaded though

Try adding apple cider vinegar 1tbsp 3xday. This and hawthorne berry dropped mine to normal within a week. It keeps me stable on and off cycle.

Situation is improving, never experienced this before however i am thinking of preloading the next time the h-Berry. For BP LGI Damage Control is disappointing.

LGI Damage Control is legit as it gets BTW... it's not meant to be a miracle agent, it helps protect your body/organs. Stop freaking out over your 140 reading and maybe it will go down.

117/78 two hours after my Squat session. No more headaches however it was needed to add some extra Supps for BP alongside the LGI Damage Control.

Aged garlic extract worked wonders for me. It also has a handful of studies showing how effective it is and it's relatively inexpensive.

Being older, I decided to go single supplement for any BP worries for an 8 week 1/4-DHEA cycle. I used:

Nature's Way Hawthorn Standardized 1.8-2.2% Vitexin (600mg)

Natural Factors Celery Seed 85% 3nB (150mg)

Now Foods Odorless Garlic Extract (100mg)

And my BP barely moved around the 115/75 mark.

I also do ACV, Baby Asprin, and eat a ton of Beets.

Is the odorless Garlic really odorless?

I'm on 40mg/day of DMZ right now. All ph's screw with my BP. Always my worst side effect. This is the first cycle I have supplemented with additional Hawthorne Berry. Only pre-loaded it for 3 days prior to starting cycle. Started cycle and within a couple days could feel the BP on high. Usual symptoms, sleeplessness, temples throbbing, etc. I'm taking Olympus Labs Ar1macare Pro and an additional 1100mg of HB daily. The last 3 days I feel like the assistance of the extra HB is working. Along with a ton of water. But I always drink a lot.

Point is, is that I feel the HB is working paired with the HB and other ingredients in ACPro. Will always supplement with this going forward, but pre-load sooner.

I make my own supp supports. Those premixed ones are mostly underdosed.
I prefer to do separate support supplements, too. Everyone is different and a custom mix is the way to go! Plus anytime I take saw palmetto I feel lethargy gets worse after a few days. I cut it out of my supports but it is in a lot of stuff.

I have always had BP issues my whole life, cycling or not. When I'm on I use a beta blocker and an ACE inhibitor, you probably don't have that option and you wouldn't want to do it anyway, it would be overkill. For some reason hawthorne does nothing for me. What makes a world of difference is REALLY watching my salt intake on cycle, I mean not cheating at ALL! (well... maybe once every other week) and as a plus, it does wonders for how your body composition and muscle quality looks.

Me and you both- I take Metropolol on cycle and off- beta blocker works wonders. My BP would be insane on cycle, didn't know I had high blood pressure in my early 20s when I was juicing and used to get so light headed and almost passout in gym- I wouldn't be able to juice if it weren't for my beta blocker RX. I'd be a mere mortal for life.

I also use metoprolol (sp?)! 50mg ED when I am cycling, makes a huge difference. It took me a while to realize I had a problem as well, didn't get diagnosed till my mid twenties, I got it under control with an ACE inhibitor. I thought everything was ok and made the sutipd mistake of using dianabol for a few days. 175/118, never again with that poo. But it is under control now, I try to avoid heavy oral use when I cycle and use injects for the most part.

I am enjoying this thread

Lol no **** brother- My Doc just put me on 100mg ED because I walked in there the other day with 150/90 - I drank 3 cups of coffee earlier and I dosed DMZ/Stano like 1 hour prior. I didn't realize it either until about 4 years ago (age 29 now), and it sucks being this young with high BP. I'm in amazing shape too, totally blows. Most PH's pre-workout still put me in a weird daze after a superset sometimes.

If you want to control BP go with Tada (Cialis). Lowers BP, increases erection strength, great for pumps, helps with BPH, it is even protective against some forms of cancer. One of my favorite products.

So, do you know what your BP is when you haven't consumed a lot of coffee and taking a PH? LOL. I mean, those are huge variables and the "white coat" effect is strong with BP checks. I've gone in and run 150/90 and then got home and had a 125/78.

Just seems odd to be prescribed a script because of a higher than normal BP reading.

I'm the same way with teh white coat... All teh girls in my family are nurses and hospitals still make me feel anxious... normally run 115/70 or so but always test around 135/80 in the office.

For BP I recommend CoQ10 (specifically Antaeus' Ultra CoQ10), KNO3 & tadalafil (if you have access to it). These aren't as strong as prescription BP medications, but they will certainly help for a cycle and will be free of gnarly sides, unless you consider increased vascularity, pumps, energy and performance under the sheets to be gnarly sides.

That sounds like a fantastic alternative, but I would probably have to go off the beta-blocker and act like I had ED to get a script from my doc :/ I guess it's not the worst thing in the world but kind of awkward. Also as a side note, beta blockers also give me a noticeable increase in pumps if I train in the morning after my dose.

Potassium nitrate (or any nitrate really) is actually surprisingly strong especially when mixed with a PDE5 (tadalafil), in fact it might be stronger than a prescription beta blocker alone. The few times I have combined a beta blocker with a high dose of nitrates I had pumps that I can only call uncomfortable.
