Bourbon for oral solution?

Hello AM ! Been years since I posted. I forget, can you use bourbon as your carrier for home brew oral solutions? Vodka is much better- but I don’t have it as I hardly ever drink. Which is a good thing. Thanks!

I am not sure alcohol is the best way to take a supplement. I remember reading something that said that alcohol can interfere with how some supplements work.
