Bought a peptide, forgot the bacteriostatic water

So, I got some peptides in the mail today and I look at them and they're obviously powder, so I forgot to order BA water with it. Does anyone sell BA with cheap shipping? I hate to buy JUST BA, since it's like $5.

Haven't I seen recipes around for making your own BA water? I did a search, but couldn't find anything. I'm sure I've seen them on another forum though. I really wish I could get another invite for it. But, that's besides the point.

Also, just to be clear, I would add 30ml BA to a bottle of 30ml powder and get the proper amount?

Do they sell BA water at drug stores and can you buy it OTC?

Thanks for the help guys

Will do. I don't have any of the supplies for it anyway. Do you know if you can walk into your local drugstore and buy BA water OTC w/o an rx?

I've think that legally, you can.
But I've never heard of anyone doing it

Just checked West End medical and now it’s 11.99 for 1 vial WTF? Where is it 5$ About the reconstitution - the peptide should be in Mgs or measured by weight not ml. Usually peptide vials are small and you add like 1 or 1.5 ml of bacto water depending on concentration you need.

I have two bottles they're both supposed to come out to 30mg/ml and they're in 30ml bottle. Will it matter for every substance how much BA to use or is there a known amount that can be used to get that solution out?

You can normally buy bac water on Amazon......there was a bit of a shortage fairly recently though so delivery times were delayed (in the uk anyway).

to reconstitute you need to know how many mg of powder is in a vial (you said you had 30ml powder in your post - guessing you meant 30mg?) and how much want to dose each pin.

for example, if you have 30mg powder and want to dose 3mg Ed (for 10 days) I would personally mix 2ml bac water and then dose 0.2 per pin.

the amount of bac water is irrelevant (as long as it’s enough to disolve, it’s about what concentration you end up with translated to the amount you want to pin. You could mix 10ml and pin 1 ml a day (to get your 3mg dose) but why pin a ml of liquid when you don’t need to?

the reason I mix to a 0.2ml contraction per pin is simply that 0.1ml I find too small an amount and too easily thrown out by a small air bubble etc. 0.2ml imo is the lowest amount I feel makes it easy to get a constant correct dose.

if I found the powder wasn’t dissolving in 2ml bac I’d use 3 or 4 ml (I’ve never found a peptide that would need more than that)

I'll check Amazon, I didn't even think of that. But, thanks, that's a very informative post. I think you're right, I got 30mg of powder in a 30ml bottle. There is quite a lot of powder in it though.

But there's quite a bit of powder in the bottle, I'm not sure 0.2ml is going to dissolve all that. What do you think?

it’s 2ml going in initially based on my suggestion bro......

I’m using ghk cu which is a 10mg powder per vial and I’m dissolving that fine in 1ml

but if you feel it needs a bit more then use 3ml. The amount of bac water isn’t important, the calculation of what concentration it gives you is.

so if you use 3ml bac total then every 0.1ml is 1mg powder.

i always work backwards though and look at how much I’m injecting per pin and mix a concentration that creates a sensible pin amount (as in my initial post I like 0.2ml per pin)

Well, I just bought some BA from Amazon, so I'll start off with 0.2ml and see if it dissolves. I think you want about 1-3mg of the stuff, obviously not 30mg, but I'm still trying to figure out the dosing protocol.

0.2ml a pin (ie 2ml total BAC water per vial, ie 3mg per dose)

this guide may help. Tailor made compounding is normally a good starting point for peptide info

Here's some advice I got on Reddit "You have to know how many milligrams it is. Say you have 5 mg of what ever... You add 1 ml to it then each 10 units is 500 mcg. You add a half ml, each 10 units is 1 mg /1000 mcg if you were to add 2 mls then you would have 250 mg/10 units. It's simple really. Take whatever total mgs you have , and divide it by the amount is units of bacteriostatic water you add. (There's 100 units in every ml)"
