geez i haven't been on here in a long time. anyways. i had to quit bodybuilding cause my knees and shoulders would hurt. two months later my wrists and hands started hurting too. it turned out that i have arthritis and CTS on both of my hands.guys please i need some advice im going crazy. i love pumping iron and i just can't seem to live without lifting weights and looking good (i already lost around 25 pounds ever since i stop lifting) i need some advice on what to do,what to take, and some exercise tips on how to exercise cause everything i do makes my wrist and fingers feel swollen and numb. i hit my abs twice a week but that's about it.this sucks and i hope yall never go through this.

See a Dr. Get the CTS fixed and hit the Gym. Joint pain can be a pain in the butt, however you can work around it. I know !

I have/had carpal tunnel in both my hands/wrists and I would advise you to get the surgery. I had it done in my right hand and the difference is night and day. The recovery time is like 2 months and then you just have to slowly build your strength back up.

No reason to live in pain, see a doctor and see what they can do for you. Good luck and any questions, feel free to ask!

thank you. guys! i really appreciate it, problem is, i dont have insurance, i might go get insurance next month though, idk how expensive the surgery is. also guys, ive been doing some research and ive heard ostarine is good for the joints, can that help me?!

You should find a good chiropractor. Things like this aren't usually the first things people think about going to a chiropractor for but we are well trained to treat peripheral nerve entrapment (which cts is ). It should be a good option to consider.

Good idea

dangg, theyre cheap! i think ill go maybe this week and ask them to check my hands and shoulders too!! i wanna go back to my old lifestyle. i used to take everything for granted. but now that im like this ive noticed that being healthy is all that really should matter to all of us. idc about money no more. i just wanna be healthy so i can enjoy the best hobby in the world which is bodybuilding!

I agree with all the advice on seeing a doc. But as this is a lifting/supplement forum I'll give you some nonmedical advice for your joints:
Antaeus Labs Achilles
Extra cissus
Omega 3

My chiropractors charges me $25.00 if I paid cash. The cost I think in well worth the benefit.

I answered your pm but it said you need more space before i can send it.

This sucks. But you really do need to figure a way to get to a doc. You need to assess how bad the arthritis is. Depending on that you need to dictate wether or not you need legitimate medication for your arthritis to slow its progress...what type of arthritis is HUGE there are many differerent types.

I personally take these supplements for my joints....Glucosamine Sulfate 2KCl 1,500 mg *
Advanced Triple Strength Proprietary Blend: MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Chondroitin Sulfate, Collagen (hydrolyzed gelatin), Boswellia serrata (resin), Citrus Bioflavonoid Extract (Citrus limon)(fruit), Hyaluronic Acid.....also add cissus, omega fish oils, Vitamin C, and aspirin daily.

If you take any aas deca + anavar and low trt dosage of testosterone can significantly slow and even stop progression of arthritis and eliminate the pain...drugs like humira do exist but again depends on the type, that would be autoimmune type like rheumatoid. goodluck.

so taking deca & anavar can stop the progression of RA?! what if its osteoarthritis? !

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this is a cure for your disease there is still much to learn in the field of endocrinology and hormone therapy in medicine...RA is an autoimmune disease so I'd think It would help slow progression by increasing bone density, collagen synthesis and calcium uptake etc..but I think if you had osteoarthritis it would benefit you much more. I do know Nandrolone deconate (deca) is prescribed for osteoarthritis patients along with anavar (also for anemia/muscle wasting)...there are many studies on this if you check out pub med. (many of the studies are flawed due to very low dosages at 50mg or something like that) Check it out. Again, going to see a doc is your best bet to determine what kind of arthritis you a have with blood tests/xrays.

I don't know enough on this but look into peptides and GH and their benefits for arthritis too...I'd think they would also have some therapeutic benefits? goodluck.

dangg i didnt know about this stuff sorry i reply so late but ive been busy latelay. im probably gonna go to the doc to see if i can get HRT

Thats not a bad idea. Make sure the doc knows what he's talking about...there are many useless docs in endocrinology/internal medicine. Goodluck.

very true I had to get 2 second opinions before I found a competent dr. anyone have feedback from using research chems for diagnosed osteoarthritis? want to put off hip replacement as long as possible
