bmw or caddy???

Sounds like a nice car. Does it have the 19" rims, that would be the cherry. Are you going to try and get pick that sweet thing up?

debating on it.sent the guy an email but haven't heard back :( I'm looking at m3 or m5's at the moment appears the m3 is slightly better.

An M3 isn't exactly better. The m3 is more of a pure sport enthusiast car, the handling, the powerful v6, the weight, etc. The m5 is a luxurious muscle car. I personally love them both.

thats what I keep hearing.they both look really good def a hard choice on which to get as they both have their advantages

Think about what is important to you:

1. Luxury - M5
2. Sportiness - M3
3. Coupe - M3
4. Sedan (comfortably fit in back seat) - M5
5. Tight feeling - M3
6. "Big" luxury feel - M5
7. Sporty smaller engine - M3
8. Large aggressive engine - M5

But again, either way, it is a good choice.

very very well written here.guess it depends on the best deal I can get. :)

Ain't nothin like good old American Muscle, if I had it my way I'd drive something from the 70s.

What about the New Dodge Challenger? Those look beast. I wish they sold them here.

On another Note: the new toyota 86 GTS looks good. The reviews here have it smoking a porche cayman-yet it only costs 30k.

I'm sure it's a fun car but smoking a cayman unlikely.

yep thats the frs.beautiful car.the backseats aren't usable though. :( might pick one up next year once they are easier to find and get

All this talk about american muscle car and no one has mentioned a Jeep srt8? Slap on a vortech supercharger and a couple of mods and you'll smoke 99 percent of what's on the street. It's AWD and with a borla exhaust it sounds HUGE. Check out my race vids srt8vortech on youtube. It is simply raw power you cannot compare the drive to a bmw x6m. Consistent 0-60mph of 3.5 secs in a 4x4 is a thrill.

The videos did look good, except for the 911 turbo running in the 10s. I think if you put a supercharger on an M3 it would be a beast as well, and not just in a straight line. It would have the luxury and comfort as the suv, and the looks of the m3, hot.

Thank you,

The 911 turbo's were by far the fastest cars we we ever raced on the 0-60's and there quarter miles are very fast. An m3 with a supercharger would not be as fast as the jeep on the 0-60 since it is not awd and none of the g power m3's at the dealership could keep up. However there top speeds were absolutely ridiculous and they are stunning cars! Of course around a track the jeep would be no match for the finesse and aerodynamics of the m3.

Am I missing something here? What is so great about the FRS......its 200hp....I really dont get it....is it super tune-able?

Affordable rear wheel drive that will probably have a lot of aftermarket tuning options.

If u want a car that is pretty cheap, fun to drive and good on gas this would fit the bill.

IMO, they have the MSRP set too high and it won't sell well.

I think this M3, with a supercharger, would be as fast. Enjoy..

How many people in here can afford the car they're telling others to buy? lol

I can't afford 95% of whats being recommended. I have 2008 Cadillac CTS and love this thing.

Have driven 2 porsches, a BMW Z8, a rolls silver wraith, and a rolls silver spur. For the price.....Still love my caddy :-)

this sums it up nicely.if it was around 20,000 or 22,000 I think it would be worth it

Lol. I drive a 1996 corolla. 3 young kids, mortgage and whatnot. I choose to spend money on a lot of other things. A nice car has never been a priority. As long as i got cold AC and good music, i'm good to go.

25 years old, no children, decent paying job and a good sense of how to hustle (taking opportunites to make money when they present themselves). Rent and bills are split with my live in GF. Besides minimal credit card debt (will be paid off in the next couple months), there is not too much in terms of responsibility cost wise in my situation.

So, by next year I will be purchasing either the m3 or the E55 (leaning towards E55 now). The only reason I am waiting until next year is I will be purchasing a condo first, and want my finances to be mint while approaching that.

def have all the fun you can before a wife and kids come into the picture

True.... but my son is the greatest thing ever to me. I'd give the car up in a heartbeat if necessary. He may be about 15 months old now, but he loves rolling up to daycare in the black on black CTS. lol. The other toddlers stop and stare.

yea the cts is nice if I can't find the bmw I want I might go with the cts. on another note I saw a brz in person today.looked really good as it flew by ;)

Just watched the BRZ run a 15sec 1/4mile.......pathetic...thats with an actual driver in it too

With the new STI coming out with 335hp it seems the brz could have a big improvement in the future. Also the STI is coming down in price and offering more power as upgrades at the dealership...

after much research I'm going to go with the series 1 128
Very cool ride. I am afraid the 1 series as it stands now may not make it, the critics seem to not be a fan of the exterior design (very small frame but takes design from larger cars, so it looks squeezed), but I like it. It is bold and sporty. It is classic bmw in a fun design. I think you made a good choice, should be a nice car.

finding out is going to be a challenge though am thinking about just having one custom made.

looks like I am going to start with the 1 series and maybe next the m3

135 is a dream bro. If you go for the M series, my recommendation is the Z4M , comes with the M3 engine and lord is it smooth! Haha.

the 135 is temping but 8k more just is too much to justify for me.yea I've been reading up on the z4 and the reviews have been solid.
