Bloodwork

I'm going to be starting a cycle soon and would like to get bloodwork done pre/post cycle. I'm in the middle of educating myself on bloodwork and such, but slow progress. Can someone tell me how I go about getting work done? What do I say to the doctor? What kind of test do I ask for (if there is even more than one) Thanks in advance for the help.

Total T
Bio T
SHBG
LH
FSH
Total estrogens
estradiol
cholestrol: LDH, HDH, total, triglycerides
liver, kidney, blood count tests

If you wanna really get into it:
progesterone (not that you can do much about it though, but my guess is it could be an indicator for pregnenelone levels which would be usefull if your bridging or doing a year long+ cycle)
dhea-s

so i go in and say "hey doc, i'd like to get bloodwork done on Total T
Bio T
SHBG
LH
FSH
Total estrogens
estradiol
cholestrol: LDH, HDH, total, triglycerides
liver, kidney, blood count tests".....i know theres like tricky ways to get tested or you have to have "symptoms" or problems, but my mom thinks she can get me lab work requested w/o any of that..i just want to make sure when i go to the lab, i know to say test this (as said up there)

thanks

You go in and say "Hi doctor, Ive been working out for a while and eating healthy, I have been researching and planning on doing a cycle for some time now. I am hoping you could get me some blood work done."

If he asks why, explain your doing the cycle either way but you want to go about it the right way.

Although what doctors hate most is that your requesting so much blood work, not what you want the blood work for.

IM CURIOUS IF YOU ARE THAT OPEN WITH YOUR DR YOURSELF?.. AND ARE YOU CONCERNED WITH THERE BEING ANY REPRECUSIONS TO THIS AS FAR AS YOUR MEDICAL RECORDS AFFECTING ELLIGABILLITY FOR INSURANCE...OR EVEN IN FUTURE TREATMENT?I HAVE HAD THE SAME DR. FOR 10 YEARS KNOW AND IM PRETTY SURE HE WOULD CRINGE VERY HARD IF I TOLD HIM THAT...

Well I did my 1st and unfortunetly last cycle afew years ago which I had my GP at the time prescribe. Unrelatedly I am now on TRT, and I have my testogel under insurance so I dont think so. You can ask your doctor if it will affect insurance but the answer will most likely be no because I dont think hes gonna mention steroids on the blood work paper.

It falls under doctor patient confidentiality as to why insurance wouldnt find out, and medical ethics as to why a doctor would help a patient with a steroid cycle, although the latter is a totally personal decision for the doctor.

I am not sure if we can post things like this but there are websites you can check out like:

I have yet to use one but I believe this has been discussed before since I had it bookmarked...

Just tell your Doctor that you have been feeling tired with no desire/motivation for sex and things haven't been the same down below. You've been online and think it might be hormone related.

Labwork
Bioavailable Test./LH/SHBG
CMP
Cholesterol panel
Liver panel

LOL, I have literally looked at 90% of all the posts in the history of the steroid forum and never even noticed that "stickies forum" you just linked too. Wow I feel dumb.

Anyway thats an awesome post. Very useful.

One other thing is most companies offer employees one "general health check up" per year. Call around find a GP that does bloodwork as standard procedure. Then before you schedule an appointment ask/tell them that you want to see the actual results of the bloodtest. If they say no take your business somewhere else. I have heard of Dr's not releasing this info for some reason even though its your own bloodwork.
