Bloods Help

Hey all, I got my bloodwork back today and I'm a bit miffed. I knew my E2 and Prolactin would be high, that's no real surprise. I am surprised by the lipid profile and not sure why my liver enzymes are so crazy high! I don't drink or use drugs at all, ever. I am taking TUDCA and NAC. What else can I do? I'm not taking anything that should really impact the liver, just Test E, Deca, Var, HGH, and Cialis.

I'll add a tablespoon of coconut oil and olive oil daily as well as omega 3-6-9. Hopefully that will help get my HDL up!

I was thinking of finishing this cycle with SD, but since my liver enzymes as already elevated, I may just stick with the Var.

Do you take folic acid?
If not, you could try that.

Have you used your source before? If not I wonder if you are having some kind of reaction to the gear. If the gear is fine, you may have to drop the Var. Also possible its not Var, but it's kind of crazy your liver enzymes are that elevated on TUDCA and NAC.

I made all of the gear myself from raws. I'm certain the stuff is good! Using MCT, BA, and BB. None of which should impact the liver. Var should hit the kidneys, mostly? I'm only taking 40mg/day.

@MadStax - had you worked out not long before the blood draw? Also curious what doses of TUDCA and NAC you're using.

Do you have a history of cholesterol and liver values being out of range (particularly when you're not on cycle), or have past tests shown everything to be relatively normal? Any other medications being taken? I don't think the cholesterol values are much to worry about, considering you're on cycle. But, with just how elevated those liver enzymes are I'd at least be very interested in seeing you drop everything except for say, a replacement/cruise dose of testosterone and getting things rechecked.

I did a heavy pull day roughly 20 hours prior to the draw.

My liver has always been great! Even at trt levels, my cholesterol and liver look perfect. 250mg TUDCA and 600mg NAC per day.

Other meds, just Claritin, omeprazole, glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, and multivitamin.

as an aside how come your taking omep bro? I was on it for years but dropped it because of the potential negative long term side effects, felt I’d rather take my chances with the hiatus hernia

Real bad reflux and heartburn as well as problems swallowing. I started taking it daily several years ago and don't have problems when I'm on it. I have tried to go off of it and it always comes back. Slowly, but it does return.

ah that’s ****, mine was bad acid reflux caused through my diet (and being obese), I lost a ton of weight and sorted my diet out and it’s largely under control now. Weirdly I find kaffir makes a difference, if I got more than 2 days without any it starts to bother me but I tend to have some each morning so it’s ok.

I've never been obese. Been a hard gainer my whole life! My diet has pretty much always been fantastic. I very rarely eat any chips, candy, desserts, fried garbage, etc.

I'll try moving the NAC up to 1,200mg/day and TUDCA to 1,000mg/day. I'm honestly shocked that my liver is so trashed from just a bit of Var!

The only unknown for me is what does HGH do to liver values? Var should be processed by the kidneys, but it's also processed by the liver as it's 17-aa.

You could try Invalid Link Removed. It has a ton of ingredients that are good for detoxing the liver.

yeah sorry bro, wasn’t suggesting you were. Was just setting the context for me and what worked (obviously I had some easy changes to address the worst of it).

the kaffir does seem to have a positive effect though (for 7 years my diet has been on point)

I saw three different doctors for help with my GERD. They did all the tests and tried all the things. The only thing that worked was to keep taking the pill every day. I only take one and have never tried less than that.

I've been eating yogurt every night before bed and taking two digestive enzymes as well. Maybe I'll try to roll off the omeprazole or reduce the frequency/dosage once I finish this cycle.

Your cholesterol and liver values are easily Explainable by your oral use even If you consider 40mg a low dose. Some people are more predisposed to react strongly / badly to anabolics than other. Regardless, anavar is way more toxic than some people make it to be...
