blood work, i have a few questions about it

what is the name of the blood test, or do i just tell them to check my T and lipids? and also if i wanted to see the effects of something such as activate would it be best to get a second test on the last day of the supplement or after a given amount of time so see if my levels are still normal? thanks for your help.
