Blood test results

Any good way to do this? Ive looked at P5P B6 which is supposed to be good between 50 - 100 per day. Im hoping if i lower prolactin eveything else will level out

Idk what p5p b6 is. As for potatoe docs, I'll be a doc in two more years so I'm not pulling this out of my ass or internet gossip. Don't take proviron, it could raise your prolactin even more, it will lower your fsh and lh, which are both pretty okay. Fsh has nothing to do with testosterone, it stimulates spermatogenesis in the presence of testosterone. Your prolactin is high, which explains your libido issues. Talk to a endo, show him this bloodwork and tell him your symptoms, he will then send your for an MRI to check for a prolactinoma. Once that comes back clean he may give your something to bring prolactin down. If not, and your symptoms still really bother you, get some prami and run a really low dose for a little while. Or get a supplement that contains levo-dopa, it the body's natural prolactin inhibitor.

Thought you were you were studying to be a pharmacist? Anyway, p5p is just another name for the biologically active form of vitamin B6, it's a cheap way to lower prolactin but doesn't work for everyone or if you're way out range, and obviously doesn't work if you have an underlying structural problem like prolactinoma. Also why would he attempt to take proviron? I thought M.I.D. (whose advice OP should not follow) was talking about viron by BL research (it's some OTC pct add-on I think), but still good advice, don't take proviron OP! And I think he's already on L-dopa, if I remember correctly that's the active ingredient in mucuna pruriens which he's taking.

Yeah I'm in pharmacy school, but we're doctors too! I didn't spend 4 years on that bachelors, 4(got two more left) in pharmacy school, and two more in residency earning my doctorate for nothing. Most people don't even know we can write scripts, have dea #, can order bloodwork, or do a bunch of other stuff.

I though he was talking about proviron, which alot of people mistake for an antiestrogen, but it's not. Idk what viron by BL research is. And I couldn't remember the name of that m. puriens crap, but I knew it contained b/t 3-6% L-dopa, and will definately help bring the prolactin down.

Considering as many people have said, im the high end of the normal range. Ill get some 15% l dopa mucuna, some B6 p5p and zinc and hopefully this will drop it to where i need it to be

So you reckon get a test done in about 4 - 8 weeks to see if its making a difference? I mean hopefully i juat notice it.

Top end of NORMAL range. Stop giving terrible advice.

High end yes, for all we know his normal level could be down the low end.... I went through what he is and my prolactin very similar, lowered it and all sorted!

I was having nipple discharge at his levels !

Viron by blr - will help with his libido and erections. The he needs to lower prolactin to help further.... I am speaking from experience and what worked wonders for me...

It's pretty bloody simple

Bloody... You must be British.

M.I.D. viron is an OK add on for libido I guess (it's a littlt overpriced though), and when I told OP not to follow your advice, I was implying OP shouldn't go jumping on a pharma dopamine agonist like caber or prami without seeing an actual doctor, not necessarily ignore your advice in general. 2kvette, yeah I know pharmacists are actual MDs (well most of them), I am practically the only member of my family who is not an MD (thank god), and one of my siblings almost chose pharmacology. It was more meant to be a lighthearted joke that you were into pharmacology and didn't know what p-5-p was

Ohhhh, I didn't take any offense!!! I thought it was like oh, now this guys an MD and PharmD(I actually know one, no joke). Yea the reason I didn't get the MD is their hours are terrible compared to ours. But still ended up in clinical pharmacy, where your basically a physician who cant do surgery b/c were not trained in that area of medicine. And I still don't know what p5p is, but I start my natural products class next semester so I'm sure I will know soon. I want no internet enemies. :)

As long as we are all agreeing that the op does have high prolactin and would be beneficial to try and bring it down to see if it will help his issues
