Blood pressure & Anabolics

Guys, I really appreciate the intelligence of most of you around here. I need advice so you're the ones I come to. My blood pressure is getting kinda high and I'm considering my options WRT my current cycle.

I'm closing week 3 of my current cycle with greatly increased blood pressure. 149/86 was my reading tonight but I got as low as 126/71 this very morning. I have started taking celery seed extract and will be increasing potassium through bananas and if I can FIND it, potassium chloride (sodium-free salt).

I am using emax and prostanozol stacked with dicana. Things are going according to plan except for the blood pressure. Now I'll do everything I can to avoid going to PCT right away, since this was supposed to be a 6-weeker.

But *IF* even with all my efforts at lowering my BP I still get readings above 150 for 3 consecutive days, I'll have to take more drastic measures than celery seed and potassium. What would those be?

A. Stop the e...max and keep the prostanozol going at a higher dosage, then if the BP is good, add the e...max back in again before going to PCT
B. Do the same but keep the e...max for another cycle, that is just prostanozol then PCT
C. Go for PCT right away.

BTW I fully understand that any comments given are just ideas and aren't meant as medical advice. This situation is hypothetical, really. So now that I've given you the green light, please help, it is much appreciated.

Actually, I don't know. I did measure it at the drugstore, but was getting stuff like 107/60. Which I thought was great. It's one of those machines where they take the measurement on the forearm and I can't for the life of me get my forearm all the way in there. So the measure is wrong, I still got about 101/45 at that machine, then went to the other drugstore to get a 144/85. :(

Well, FYI, I started taking sodium-free salt (potassium chloride) in caps, about 3000mg a day and it is coming under control. At about 133/71 as I write this. Not GREAT but I don't have to worry about a stroke while training. :D The KCl seems to lower the second number much more than the first...

I had a client on the same stack and he broke out in hives and had to stop, Fish oil can help along with red rice yeast, aslo slow steady cardio about 55-60% of your max hr can help, coq10 is also a good choice but these new orals although legal really have not been tested to a large extent and the old standbys are in general safer IE Test, Deca.

This works for many.
1500mg Calcium
1000mg Magnesium
1000mg Potassium
3 TSP Liver Oil

keeps a lot of guys I know at 120/80 while on DBOL...

I don't think 149/86 is too much to worry about... :whiner:

How big are your arms? For most of us on this board ;) a large cuff is needed to give an accurate reading. A normal size cuff on my arm has given higher than normal readings numerous times since I started BB'ing/juicing.

Before you worry too much you should have somebody qualified (nurse, lab tech  , ect.) take your BP manually with a large cuff. Don't trust the automated one at Walmart, ect.

Thanks supersoldier. 18½" flexed at this point so that's about 17"-18" extended, I'm not sure... I guess I'll have to go to a doc or sumthin'... I hate the half-day waiting times....................

ss01 - pick up the cheap supps I mentioned, worked for me... might save you time in the waiting room. good luck!
