Best Workout Song

"indestructible"- disturbed

That would be one of my top picks as well. I really need to get an mp3 player going in the gym. I'm a big music guy and I can totally see how listening to the right music can incease motivation. I wrote a research paper once for college that talked about the influence of music on mood. Good stuff...

But I'd have to go with lap dance by N.E.R.D

For some reason that song just gets me pumped up every time I listen to it. It's because of that one fight scene from Kiss of the Dragon, with Jet Li. If you haven't seen that movie, watch it and you'll know what I'm talking about. You'll be wanting to fight people shortly after. :duel:

He's a friend that DJ's in Los Angeles. Reps if you can catch all the movie cuts in there. I'll go ahead and throw my favorite out:

'You can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug, especially when its waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye"

Fear and Loathing!! HELL YEAH.

Download the track and listen. I don't remember at what time into the track the Fear and Loathing cuts start, but they are there.

Enjoy!

I read a study in Men's Health that said music increases strength. Whether that study is right or not I know music helps me. My mp3 player is one of my most important supplements.

Lapdance is a good one but it gets me pumped to go to the strip club not the gym

All kinds of music evokes some kind of emotion. Which is why listening to Hatebreed and Killswitch Engage evokes the perfect emotions for working out.

Today on my last set of squats I just cranked up "This Fire" by Killswitch and went for it. Music allows me to drown out the pain. Instead of thinking "I can't do one more." I'm singing along.

Lapdance is a good one but it gets me more pumped up to go to the strip club than the gym.:hitit:

I love Hatebreed. For the longest time I thought they were just screaming nonsense but I started listening to the lyrics...VERY motivating.
