Best supp for aches & pains?

Hi

My work involves standing up literally all day (apart from lunch when I go to the gym!). Just turned 44 & it's starting to take its toll, frequent leg aches, recurring groin strain issues.

I know the obvious answer is to get a new job (I'm working on that), but apart from stretching, is there a supp that can help with this?

Thankyou

This is not what you asked, but what are your shoes like? Quality shoes can make a big difference. It can be a bit difficult to find the best ones for you, but that is one aspect I would put a lot of focus on. I can't really help you find the right shoes, I sit behind a desk all day. But I know a few people who have put some effort in finding proper shoes for their job and it has made a big difference. Then there's some padding you can put under your feet inside your shoes and what not. And it's not just about sole, like it may seem. It affects posture, muscle tensions throughout the body as you stand etc.

For supps maybe cbd? Apex has a topical cbd product called Relax. That could help.

Thanks for your reply, that is a very good point, I will look into proper footwear.

It's slowly becoming a big issue, so anything that helps..

Will also look into that product.

Appreciate your thoughts mate

Kratom tea helps me the most. This leaf needs to be respected and used with discipline or you can become dependent on it.

SNS Cissus with SNS Joint Support is the best supplement combo I use for this.

Collagen peptides help some too.

Magnesium and noble body kava at night helps relax sore muscle.

54 yr old active powerlifter here who still squats and deads 400-450 per week for reps relatively pain free - now. But it was not like that 5 years ago.
Those aches and pains won't go away with supps and topicals etc.. - they only get worse until you address them.
Supps can help turn the fire down - but its temporary and absolutely will not stop the progression.
Only you can stop the progression - that's if you still want to be lifting in 10-50 years from now.
I suggest more work on general conditioning and less on whatever it is your doing at the gym. Your physique will feel and look better anyhow.
Identify the areas that hurt and make them un-hurt.
I like knees over toes guy, Tommy morrison, Squat University etc..
Good luck!

Agree with this. Can't go wrong with Cissus and Joint Support by SNS in terms of quality and effectiveness.

Thankyou. You're right, as I'm on my feet all day & cycle alot, I probably do neglect my legs in the gym. Will look into your recommendations..

Please note that I used to cycle allot and really loved it. I ended up (after years of trying different things) finding that the open back position of cycling was really bad for everything (hip, lower back, etc... etc.. etc..) unfortunately. Now I only do stand up stuff (closed back position). Stopping cycling was the #1 thing that helped my body feel better. At least consider that doing stuff like back extensions, glute ham raise, the top part of a deadlift where you use the glutes to throw the hips forward etc.. that close the back would help offset what the cycling position does.

This is some decent advice. Look to iron out your deficiencies so you feel better in the long run.

Powered by Full Spectrum CBD
CBD works by interacting with our body’s endocannabinoid system, a regulatory system made up of naturally occurring cannabis-like molecules. These endocannabinoids, as they’re called, work like neurotransmitters, shuttling messages through the body to help maintain homeostasis. Cannabinoids like CBD interact with the endocannabinoid system at two known receptors: CB1 and CB2.

CB1 receptors are mainly present in the brain — where they’re involved with cognition, memory, motor skills and pain — but also in the peripheral nervous system, liver, thyroid, uterus and more. THC attaches itself to these receptors, inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters and possibly increasing the release of others, altering normal functioning.

Did you try MSM at 4gr+?

I had chondromalacia in left knee and tendinitis and bursitis in both shoulders and the only thing that did anything was the MSM at high dosing. Not cissus, boswellia and any other supplement. I take fish oil and curcumin on a daily basis for other reasons and didnt did anything.

This is HUGE. Such a good response. Never underestimate the power of having the right footwear and/ or orthotics.

Other then that, supplements like joint support XT and Cissus can help inflammation and resolve some discomfort but they won't fix the root issue.

I'm on my feet all day and the thing that saves me is my footwear

I would say Helios 100 like rocket says. additionally it sounds like you should be able to ask for a chair at work. this sounds like a work place injury

Thanks, what footwear do you use please? I'm looking into it..

You've had some good suggestions here: Helios-100, MSM, gym work, etc.
I also use HELIOS-100 daily, and it's helped me a Lot.

Also, your footwear question was a great one. Very Importanté.
If you can afford it or your insurance will cover it, you could go see a foot Specialist (Dr), and see what footwear/insert they advise for your specific situation/feet.

I'm a Representative for Apex-Alchemy.
Please feel free to send me a message about Helios-100, our other products, or anything else, if you ever need to.
