Ill tell you what. Ive done squats, front squats and do fairly large amounts of weight. But the other day, I did hack squats with this tempo (6/1/1). Meaning 6s eccentric / 1s pause / 1s concentric. I had 225lbs and nearly blacked out on my last 1 rep.
I was sore as piss the next day. My Vastus medialis were barking at me for 3 days.
