Best size building lifts....?

I am recovering from quite bad knee injury so I cannot do squats as it causes too much pain for me, so could anyone tell me the best size & testosterone building lifts? I know squats are the best but as i cant squat what lifts should I focus on? Please help me out I am new to these forums, cheers dudes.
 
Basically any compounds...if you can do em do deadlifts or rack pulls, squat press, leg press, weighted hyperextensions...etc maybe try knee wraps to be safe but don't do anything that hurts it of course
