Caffeine and/or DMAA
Right on, I was thinking of grouping them into just a "Stimulants" category and listing the most effective stims/ones on the safer side (1,3d, caffeine, E, Y, etc)

Forskolin is definitely good.

EC is always a nice stack, but I don't know if you want to mention ephedrine or not.

Yohimbine HCL or alpha-yohimbine.

I second that. Both have research showing they can reduce cortisol, as well as have potential body composition benefits. The anxiety reduction from ashwagandha also pairs well with the increased libido from tongkat ali (both are present and dosed very well in AlphaMax XT, plus forskolin and ferulic acid, which can also benefit body composition).

Here's a more in-depth list:

Daily (muscle, strength, etc):
Creatine
Betaine
Beta Alanine (for sports mostly)
Phosphatidic Acid
ArA

Daily (general health, hormones, mood, etc):
Ashwagandha
Tongkat Ali
Spirulina

Pre-Workout (acute):
Caffeine
Citrulline
Nitrates
Taurine
Rhodiola

Fat-Loss:
Ephedrine
Yohimbine-HCL or Alpha-Yohimbine
Forskolin

ALA is a great one. I personally think Digestive Enzymes are very important. Ive always used during my growth phases. One of the best bodybuilding supps imo.

Ive used many different. I just look for bromelean and papain. Bromelean is great for digesting protein. I damn near eat 300-350 protein from animal a day. Digestive enzymes aee key for me. Greek yogurt is good if you handle dairy well. As i get older i have a harder time.

Based on personal experience and not counting stims, nothing even comes close to touching the acute effects of COP on my workouts

Eh, if your diet contains sufficient protein, it's not going to do much for you.
Cmon bro. Your right to a large extent, but if were talking single ingredients leucine is much more vital than adaptogens and nitrates. Lets be real.

Yeah, I suppose that's true for the average non-serious lifter who probably doesn't get 3-5g leucine per meal. But really, it's not hard to get a sufficient leucine content from a quality protein source, but for the average person, you have a point.

I'd argue that ashwagandha is a damn good ingredient with benefits for just about anyone though. Maybe not incredible for bodybuilding (it is good though) but great for stress/anxiety/cortisol, and even good for cognition, etc.

hmm, no one has mentioned Fish Oil? D3 and Magnesium are also staples that I think are underrated in the bodybuilding community.

Spirulina
nice list (erased to not bog down thread).

i believe ive read some of your thoughts previously on spirulina, but out of all the greens'y super food type ingredients, why that one? (this is me picking your brain, not questioning your preference)

peoples thoughts on
cardiovascular ingredients
-coq10 (might need to add emphasis or * for age related perhaps)
-garlic
-bergamot

cognitive boosters cant be forgotten
-alcar
-various cholines (cdp/gpc/bitartates ect)
this list could get much longer

inflammation/joints
-curcumin
-cissus
-boswellia

depends how sports related youre going i guess.

This goes back to the same arguement about leucine. If its assumed everyone eats properly and get in the right nutrients, then the list would be vastly different imo.

Spirulina is much more than just a green/superfood source of protein or b vitamins like most hippies think it is. There are human studies showing it can:
-Improve HDL
-Increase endurance, power output, and fat oxidation
-Help with allergies and congestion
-Improve liver enzymes and reduce liver fat

And much more even. Much more than a few grams of protein would do for you.

There's also a lot of research (animals) showing that it can help with joints and arthritis at relevant doses. Stuff works well for horses too (serious).

Garlic is another good one. Kyolic is good stuff, odorless, and affordable.

Boswellia (AKBA), Microlactin, and Bromelain are great for joints, as is absorption-enhanced curcumin.

Nigella sativa is great as well:

-helping allergies
-slight cognitive benefits
-reduced arthritis pain
-improved asthma
-reduced viral load
