IGF-1 itself does not "cause" cancer anymore than testosterone or estrogen "causes" cancer. There is absolutely ZERO scientific evidence to suggest that IGF-1, estrogen, testosterone, or any other naturally occurring hormone causes cancer.

I have had an in depth 1 on 1 discussion on this exact topic with a very conservative oncologist and his answer was in line with what I quoted above.

Also of interest was that he had seen NO evidence that protein sensitive cancer cells are caused by high protein athlete/bodybuilding diets.

You never heard of MK-677? Wow! It is $59.99 with the 20% discount code. It is the equivalent of roughly 3-4 iu of GH per day (there's plenty of clinical research and user bloodowork to prove this). Many guys spend $200-250+ to get the same results from that dose of exo. GH, so the price is actually quite low considering what it does. Furthermore, my MK-677 is the best value on the entire market.

I can't believe you've never heard of it. You must not read much about PEDs, as MK-677 has been one of the most popular products--both on the research chemical/peptide market and OTC market for the last few years. Unlike most OTC supps, MK-677 is an actual drug with mountains of research behind it.

I have no idea what it came in at this batch, as my partner dealt with it this time. Each batch is tested for purity and potency, but it can vary by .5% or so. Unlike MK-677 produced by research companies, Somatozine is made in a GMP facility and we buy from only the best raws suppliers. There are a LOT of poor suppliers out there...and many companies use them to save money. Not us. We use the same sources as IML; a company long known for producing pure and properly dosed products.

It's the same with manufacturers--plenty of crooks out there. In order to consistently make good products each player in the game needs to be trustworthy and on the same page, from the raws supplier, to the manufacturer, to the supplement company owner(s). Otherwise, you start seeing stuff like you did with Dura-Cap not too long ago.

I am not sure what this product is, but many people underestimate the effect that truly effective appetite stimulants can have on muscle growth, especially in those individuals who struggle to consistently eat all the calories they need for growth. For these individuals I would say that appetite stimulants are one of the most valuable classes of supplementation...because if the person isn't eating enough to grow, he won't grow, no matter how hard he trains or how meticulous his dietary regimen may be. It's as simple as that.
I definitely found that MassMax XT increased my appetite, and I did gain a good bit of weight when I ran it. Of course, I'm not saying that increasing appetite is the only thing it does, but you are definitely right when you say that increasing appetite can lead to some solid gains. I've also noted that I can seem to eat more without feeling bloated/full with products like MassMax XT and Magnitropin, and more food = more gains.
 
If MK turns up appetite to a greater degree than Mass Max XT I would have to pass. I feel like I'm about 15-20% hungrier throughout the day since I began taking Mass Max. Something stronger would make me nuts. I already have a tough time avoiding carbs. I may be an exception though.

As a kid I would avoid hanging out with certain people because I knew they wouldn't be eating often enough! I felt like complete **** if I didn't eat every 3 hours. Luckily I married a woman who enjoys cooking healthy meals.

The hype is real for Mass Max. I can't think of a stronger (legal) supplement that would be better for a hard gainer. I may actually give this stuff to my grandmother who needs to bulk up! Not even joking.

Side note here and it really doesn't apply but the only think that EVER gave me an appetite increase more than MK was single ingredient OG anabeta. The worse hunger i've ever experienced in my life. Happened every time I took it too
 
Research seems to indicate that GH/IGF-1 could help, if anything. I personally know of some doctors who have seen reports of it help and be a useful treatment tool that also has secondary benefits, such as improvements in body composition, which can be especially beneficial for people with inflammatory diseases.

If looking at it purely from an IGF-1 and GH elevating standpoint, then yes, MK-677 would be helpful...as it does both of those things very effectively.

Like I said, I am not sure what is in Mass max, but I am pretty familiar with all the most effective appetite stimulants (by compound) out there and I have not yet seen anything which can even approach the "ghrelin mimetics" in terms of appetite stimulation. Although not everyone responds exactly the same, most report extreme increases in appetite.

I need to do a proper review. I owe it to the forum. Here are my notes:

Week 1
-1-2 extra reps in many exercises (potentially placebo).
-Slight increase in hunger at the end of the week.

Week 2
-An average increase of 2-3 extra reps on most lifts (I can write of 1... maybe 2 reps as placebo. After 20 years of training 3 extra reps is NOT placebo. I know my body)
-Appetite really started ramping up. I would eat a large meal and the hunger remained. It was almost comical. My wife wanted to know what the heck was going on because I at 3 large meals back to back...

Week 3
-Appetite continued to increase. I wouldn't want a stronger increase in appetite. This is perfect for a bulk. I craved food every 2 hours (I usually don't feel hunger between meals). I was able to stop myself from binge eating knowing that Mass Max was responsible for the cravings.
-5 pounds bodyweight gained by the end of the week. My wife noticed me looking bigger. A few people commented at the gym. I asked if it was just fatter looking but my wife and others said no. I still had abs showing. For a visual I'm 5'6" 220 pounds with upper abs showing. I'm around 16% bodyfat. The gains from mass max are quality. I could have easily gained more weight with more calories but I'm sure most of it would be fat. Self control is a must with the appetite increase! Hide the cake!

Week 4
8 pounds total gained. I could have gained more but most likely would have been more fat than muscle. I would say 50% due to calories, maybe 50% due to whatever goodness Mass Max does with hormones. I felt a slight bump in mood but that might have been from knowing every workout I was going to PR on a few things. If a rep could comment on the mood aspect I would be interested in knowing more. Depressed? Mass Max! Can't eat due to anxiety? Mass Max! I'm not even joking.

Thoughts at the end of 4 weeks
I am sad to stop. I have another bottle and surely this stuff would bring me up to 225-230 by the end of 8 weeks. All lifts have gone up! I would compare it to a very mild prohormone run without the need for PCT. EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Reason for not running full 8 weeks
My goal is to set a bench press record. I need to get my weight down to 190-195 pounds to enter the 83kg weight class. The heavier I get the farther away I'm getting from my goal. I wanted one last go at pushing my strength in a caloric surplus and Mass Max delivered. Alas it's time to start reducing carbs and increasing cardio (sad face). I wouldn't want to waste my 2nd bottle in a caloric deficit. I think the greatest benefit came from the ability to eat more. I'm sure there's other magic happening too but I get hangry very easily. I think the hunger pains would be unbearable with Mass Max in a caloric deficit with HIT thrown in.

Final Verdict
If you're a hard gainer, need to stimulate appetite, are looking to increase strength, or want to try something close to a very mild prohormone product without all the concerns about shutdown, messed up liver values, or need for additional PCT products... Mass Max XT is your huckleberry!

Keep in mind I've been training for over 20 years. It's rare for me to get all warm and tingly about a supplement because I've been let down many times. I followed the positive review trail on this forum and decided to give Mass Max XT a go. This gets my stamp of approval.

I tried andostenedione way back in the day when you could walk into GNC and buy a bottle. I had no clue about the side effects and potential shutdown at the time. I'm not a fan of prohormones. Mass Max is a better alternative.

I think Mass Max will give you sustainable gains if you keep calories up and training intensity high. I'm sure it would work well for an intermediate lifter but the real value is for an advanced lifter who experiences slower gains. I felt a renewed interest in my training. By week 3 I was hitting PR's everywhere. That's a rare occurrence after 20 years of training!

My favorite natural product has been original Anabeta...up until I used MassMax XT. I just wish I could stack the two. Oh well...

-Strength goes up. Noticeable by the second week. Continued for entire 4 week run. I think an 8 week run would be excellent for bulking. I'm doing this after my cut.
-I felt a slight increase mood. A bit more relaxed and happy. I'm sure that was partly due to my excitement to hit PR's every week.
-During week 4 I felt unstoppable in the gym. I think I was a little more aggressive with my lifts than usual. I had to resist the urge to yell on the last couple reps because I felt so damn powerful. I'm a pretty mellow guy but I felt unstoppable and I liked it!

I only used it 3 weeks or so, and the effects kicked in very quickly.

Increased muscle definition and hardness were undeniable...
I also felt less bloated (as in no bloat). Other products that have been discussed in this thread have many reports of increased bloat..

I did not have any notable strength increases, but I obviously was not on it long enough. Also, consider that I had been using FD2 for months prior to my Massmax experience, so my body had already been accustomed to enjoying the benefits of the (-)-Epi aspect of the product. I happen to respond extremely well to all (-)-Epi products...

I only cut my run short due to the fact that I was starting my cut and the increased hunger was problematic at the time. I will be going back to it soon.

I suspect you will really enjoy this product!
